“Stayed for 2 nights recently. All I can say is, if you are looking for this area STAY HERE if it is available. Beautiful home, very very nice rooms, extremely comfortable bed and out of this world breakfast. Gave me a nostalgic feel of British B&Bs from trips there as a child. Warm, inviting and just a great experience. Guarantee if we're ever back on Fidalgo we will be staying here again. Jessica was such a wonderful host. (her pastry skills are amazing!)”

“I really enjoyed this hotel. It had a ceiling fan, which i loved, and a nice restaurant on-site. My only complaint was there we no fitness center. The woman at the desk said it was in transition from one building to another and not open.”

“Great place to stay for Whale Watching, Bird Tours and Tulip viewing in April and much more. Super friendly staff and comfortable rooms and beds. Good cinnamon rolls at breakfast.”

“We stayed in Cowichen cabin right in the water. It was newly renovated and seemed nice. There were small things here and there that had me confused. We used the pull out couch which did have linens but lacked pillows and a comforter. The lamp in that space doesn't turn off all the way which meant we had to unplug it each night. Kitchen was stocked with all you need to cook on the stove and oven which was great. As a visitor you have to remove your own garbage which was fine. I was surprise the amount of cobwebs left by housekeeping.Location is great, loved walking around the area, great view, quiet except for garbage and recycle trucks that come before 7 am on Wednesday morning. The additional services are nice, sauna, hot tub, there is limited time that you get to use them though. Staff was great, Jan took good care of us and thanks for the lamp in the sauna.Walkability: A beautiful 4 mile walk to the community center, roads are quiet and local drivers are very polite.”

“We have stayed here a few times over the years under different management with not the greatest experiences. But the current management is fantastic! Katy is so understanding of our situation and always wants to make sure we have an enjoyable stay and needs are met best they can - we understand their limitations and accept that staying there (daughter in wheelchair). Our stays this year have been wonderful and no issues which is so nice to be able to experience and say. Its also a very cute hotel - rooms are decorated and kept up as is exterior. Can't beat the location with a gorgeous view of Mount Baker. Always plenty of parking. We stayed twice this year and will definitely be back next year.”

“This place is really nice! When I see 2 star hotel, my expectations were way lower than what we got - I was impressed! Clean, spacious, well-appointed and well located for the ferry.”

“A great find for us. We stayed in the San Juan Motel for one night while attending a family reunion. Clean, spacious room with two beds, tv, microwave, cooktop, sink, and medium-sized refrigerator. Pleasant and helpful staff. If you are looking for a comfortable stay at a budget price, this is it.”

“Loved our room. Great water viewing and places outside to enjoy the view. Clean, quiet, and enjoyed it. Coffee area sink had some questionable rust, but we didn't use it. Breakfast is very basic, but okay with that. Happy with my stay and will come again.”

“We go to the island for family vacation every year, so we usually stay near the ferry terminal the night before. The staff at Anaco Bay Inn was wonderful, especially Shy, she was terrific to us. My family stayed in what was like a cute little duplex. It was quiet, comfortable and we all slept well. We enjoy the Continental breakfast and plan to make Anaco Bay Inn part of our annual stops.”

“We had such a wonderful stay here last night. Fran on the front desk is a delight. The rooms are beautiful and very clean.
I highly recommend staying here. It's cheaper than most local chain hotels, and the rooms and location are far superior.
Thank you for a wonderful stay, Fran! We will definitely be back. :)”
