Had a wonderful experience with Nicole. We were in and out within nine minutes for a new passport application. She was super helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. Also loved that when we called the post office in the morning they answered right away. That’s the first post office in Washington state that has ever answered their phone when I’ve called.
I would 100% drive all the way from where we live in Bellingham just to come to this specific post office!

I frequent the post office to send my husband care packages who is currently deployed. Everyone who I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with has been wonderful. I had a horrible experience with the Oak Harbor post office at the start of this deployment and I walked into the Anacortes post office with care packages in my arms nearly in tears from the hoops I had been jumping through to send my husband packages to the ship. This was around Christmas and I realize it can be stressful for all the postal workers. Marcie was working up front and truly was heaven sent. She was so patient with me, so sympathetic of the experience I had previously had and so personable. Since that interaction I will only go to Anacortes to send out packages whether that be local or international. I walked in yesterday with five (yes FIVE) boxes I was trying to send to the ship. I realize how tedious and time consuming FPO/AP packages are to process. Sweet Marcie was working (thank goodness) and she spent nearly an hour with me getting these boxes sent off. She is so incredibly patient, asked my son questions about his daddy and was just so personable. Never once did she make me feel like I was a burden or taking up too much of her time. Cannot say enough good things about her and all the other post workers at this specific location.

Just a warning, the 800 number will give you the runaround. Every time I entered my tracking number, it would not register numbers. After having to enter my tracking number 10 times, it sent me back to the main menu. Once I was able to find the direct number to my local office, the issue with my package was resolved. I would recommend to avoid the 800 number

I’ve had a few delivery issues that were quickly resolved by the folks at the Anacortes post office. Especially appreciative of Chris, who answered the phone just before closing. He researched my issue and called me back with status within 5 minutes. Wonderful customer service!

We’ve been here about a year now and the postal workers I’ve interacted with have always been courteous and helpful. The occasional piece of mail gets put in our post office box that is addressed to a previous post office box renter, but that’s to be expected sometimes. They have a drop box specifically for that scenario so they can resolve it, and it’s very easy to just drop it off there. Very happy to have such a nice post office in our community, thank you!

Although I've never had any issues with the personnel at this facility, I will NEVER use the USPS again to send packages. I paid extra to send a package via Priority Mail to ensure it was delivered by a certain date. Well, now it's three days past that date and it still hasn't been delivered. In addition, the USPS tracking is an absolute joke. Never again! From now on I will use UPS.

Service is inconsistent with regards to the redelivery service. Twice I requested redelivery and twice my package wasn't delivered. The first time I had to pick it up because the carrier took the signed delivery slip, but did not deliver my package. The second time the carrier put a missed delivery slip over the signed slip and didn't deliver my package again. Even after bringing other mail to my for door. All I want is my mail delivered. That's all.

Seems to not answer phone calls at the branch or deliver mail. Just junk mail deliveries since October 2022. Missing all my tax forms that were due on January 31, 2023.

Some of the employees (one in particular) have absolutely no place in the service industry. They are grumpy, unhelpful and disinterested in their jobs, and couldn’t care less about providing good customer service. They should be fired!
