Ok, what's the deal, waiting in front of the line and someone else comes and is helped. And when I greet with a good morning, they tell me they are busy and I will have to wait. Not a good way to treat Vets. Please get your customer service organized. I will have to go to the base deli from now on as they definitely have their customer service straight.

Wife and I ate from the deli. It's a cheap meal! And almost zero wait. Awesome customer service. The quality of the food is... meh. Some items are decent. The roasted chicken wasn't bad. We could not finish the shrimp stir fry though. It was salty and bland and borderlining on gross. Ate a few bites and through the rest of it out. We'll probably come back every now and then because sometimes you just want a quick lazy lunch and don't want to spend a lot of money. I'm grateful the deli is here for us.

Bottom line: it's slow, everyone is trying to get somewhere while competing with the retirees who are not pinched with a timeline. This store has mostly everything you need. Customer service though... is definitely a hit or miss. Service: could be better. Expect slow and irritated cashiers and stockers. Other shoppers: some obviously have places to go and you'll know as they cut you off. Others, have no where to go... and so you don't want to look like the type that's cutting them off.... However, when the small grocery isle becomes a defacto Barnes and Noble reading isle... you're going to get held up. Just beware. Items: this is a PLUS. It has all your much needed regular commodities for day-to-day household, outdoor BBQ, and adult beverages for a preplanned or unexpected parties! If you need something for a long weekend on one of the islands, it's a perfect place to visit prior to getting on the ferry.
