Not happy with them closing the gate prior to 4:30. Would be nice if they were actually open for the hours that we pay for.

Bit of a wait on a Sunday but not bad. $20 minimum for dump run. Assistants to point out where you can back in at the station. Very convenient if in the Arlington/Smoky Point/Marysville area!

This place is a really dump. ?Step right up, ladies and gentlemen, to the North County Recycling & Transfer Station – where your discarded treasures embark on a journey that rivals any space odyssey! This place isn't your average dump – oh no, it's a recycling extravaganza that gives new meaning to "trash to treasure."Picture this: a conveyor belt system that could give a Las Vegas magic show a run for its money. I half expected to see a recycled soda can don a top hat and pull a rabbit out of its tab. The way these machines sort through the chaos of waste is like watching the Recycling Olympics – synchronized sorting, acrobatic aerobics, and the grand finale: the Trash Can Toss (not really, but a person can dream). And let's talk composting – the science fiction of the recycling world. The composting area is like a secret garden where potato peels and apple cores gather to plan their uprising as nutrient-rich soil. I wouldn't be surprised if I saw a carrot leading a motivational pep talk. But the real showstopper? The employees. These recycling superheroes are on a mission to save the planet, one aluminum can at a time. They're like the Avengers of eco-friendliness, armed with sorting gloves and recycling capes. So, if you're seeking a spectacle that's both entertaining and environmentally conscious, the North County Recycling & Transfer Station is the place to be. It's recycling with a side of theatrical flair – an experience that'll leave you wondering why your old cereal box never became a Broadway star.
