James and Anna are two of the best pharmacist I've ever met in my life. Super kind and compassionate and they make each client feel so special. The rest of the team is so wonderful as well. It took me a long time to find a pharmacy that really seems to care about my needs.

I have to give a shout out to Johnathon in the bakery! I went in this morning to buy donuts for work, but by the time I got there, there wasn’t much left. I started to leave when Johnathon asked if he could help me. I explained that I was looking for donuts but it was ok because I know they go fast on Fridays. He said he happened to have some behind the counter and if I passed him my box he would be happy to get me whatever kinds I would like. I was so thankful! He was so friendly and helpful, and totally made my day. Thank you!!

I’m not typically one to make a fuss about stores or employees in general, but I’m very annoyed, frustrated, and disgusted by the way I was treated this afternoon. I went to the deli to grab something small to eat, as usual, they were understaffed, no big deal I don’t mind waiting. By the time someone was called up to help, I was very rudely approached by an older woman working behind the deli counter. I was met with not only a very disrespectful, and tasteless attitude, but also very much unprofessional. She made it very clear she wasn’t too thrilled about being there and I felt more of an inconvenience than a customer. I pushed the attitude aside and began ordering, her responses were rude, snappy, and unnecessary. I simply said “hey I get you might be having a rough day, and you’re just trying to work, but you are not going to take it out on me” and instantly fired back and I said “that’s ok I’ll go somewhere else” as I walked away she was still yelling at me across the store. At her age you’d think she’d know a bit more on respect and professionalism.

This particular Safeway is always out of a lot of things and then just stops caring things that they used to carry. They cater extremely well to carnivores not so much to vegetarian or vegan's. I was almost able to buy their broccoli salad in the deli until I saw that there was bacon in it. It's sad that there's meat in everything and every salad and every wrap.

Not pleased with my vaccine experience. I got my first Covid vaccine from Safeway and had Anna Give me the vaccine. She was very kind, helpful and thorough. She told me to come back in 14 days for my 2nd dose and said to just walk in on that day to get my shot. She literally told me “if they tell you they are booked up, you tell them Anna said you can get your second dose that day and they will get you worked in”. So, today was my 14th day, I walked in and they told me that they have no availability. I explained I was told I should be able to walk in for my 2nd dose, no problem. They said no again. I told them what Anna said to me and reiterated that she said even if they state they are full they can still get me in for my 2nd dose. They came back and told me that she must have not realized my 14th day landed on a holiday and they will not be able to accommodate. They said they could call me tomorrow if they have any openings but I needed it today because I timed it with my work schedule in case I have any side effects. Plus, I was told I could walk in with no problems. They then told me I can call around and see if I can get it somewhere else. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with multiple pharmacies saying they are booked. Luckily I was able to get in at bartells, and they will get a raving review for their service. Safeway totally lied about when I can come in and created a huge mess for my second dose. Not pleased that the staff are on totally different pages, it’s not like we are trying to protect ourselves from a virus right? It must not be a priority for them to communicate properly to their patients. I wasted my whole morning calling and driving around to find my booster. I wouldn’t recommend starting your vaccine series with them unless you are prepared to possibly have to last minute find somewhere else to get your 2nd dose.

Well Safeway jibed us again. You add the digital coupons to your club card expecting to get the discount when you purchase the items only to find that digital discount didn’t happen. My husband did some shopping today, and being a Wednesday the new coupons started and it was busy. Since he never uses the self check registers he’s usually doesn’t watch the prices as things are scanned but does check his receipt when he gets home which he did today. And low and behold the only digital discount he got was for a half gal of milk. The lucerne butter that was supposed to be 1.79 each rang up at 2.62 each and the Tillamook ice cream rang up at 5.79 instead of the digital coupon price of 2.99. There was a slight discount from the regular price for member and the for you savings for a grand total of 1.94. I realize to some the difference between paying 11.03 instead of 6.57 may not seem like much but the point is if a business is advertising a discount digital or otherwise they should make sure their computer system is actually giving that discount.

Always very kind, eager to help you work anything out and very patient with customers. Hands down best pharmacy staff I've ever had the pleasure of speaking with. They go the extra mile and through all the crazy they maintained and understood "customer service", even when they shouldn't have. Way to go everyone!!!

So went today (9-9-21) to get some things in the door saying all.mis wear mask but I see a lot of shopper doesn't have mask but non of employees has say anything come on have guts and tell people need to wear mask like it says posted on the door. If Employees are not saying anything no one will follow the rules... Ms. Dawn M. Thank you for the fast respond please let me know where should i tell you my experience or a link thank you.

This Safeway in Arlington on 172nd st. is dirty especially the carts are filty. There are never enough checkers and the lines are long. The checkers seemed overworked and not very friendly. The biggest thing about this store is they force you to sometimes to help bag your own groceries and always lift your groceries into your own cart. I have a bad neck and back so I dread going there for groceries .. It's always a lot of work for me to load my cart. With the high prices we pay there they should have a bag person. If I don't load my cart the groceries stack up at the end of the belt and the checker moves on to the next person then I am forced to load my cart and hurry. It's horrible and our only grocery store option in the area. With all of the apartments going in across street and behind Safeway, I am anticipating it only getting worse. Please Safeway help your customers at checkout and clean your carts.
