Alexander's Lodge At Mt Rainier offers a charming and historic retreat just minutes from the Nisqually entrance of Mount Rainier National Park. We went for our 20 wedding anniversary (we got married here). Beautiful place about a mile or so from a Mount Rainier entrance.

Our family (4) stayed in the Tower Suite. The view was beautiful in 5 directions! Close to the entrance to the park and a restaurant 750 feet away serving Himalayan food. This is the perfect location right at the gateway to Rainier national park! They are also dog friendly and have beautiful grounds and trails of their own. The yurts do share a very clean shower but there are also main house options. The only negative is someone stole my breakfast from the shared refrigerator:-(
