I love this place, it’s a family tradition to visit and see all of the beautifully curated artwork upstairs, as well as the many incredible items for purchase downstairs. Rick is one of a kind and always willing to go the extra mile. I definitely recommend stopping, there is something for everyone! Not to mention, it’s a great way to support local artists, including the owners themselves!

A nice small shop and gallery with a very large amount of stuff. The pottery is amazing, a variety of styles, sizes, and functions. There is also a collection of books, cards, etc. Also quite a few paintings, drawings, photos. The owner was very friendly, and knowledge. The shop is a very nice find.

My wife and I popped into Rick's store while we were visiting Mount Rainier for our one year wedding anniversary. You can tell that the items in this shop are made from a labor of love. Rick, the owner, is also just a super down to Earth and awesome guy who totally helped restore our faith in humanity as a whole LOL. If you're visiting Ashford / Mount Rainier you HAVE to stop in this store! So wonderful <3 Peace & Love -- Madison & Jolene

Please go visit this amazing gallery/store! You get to not only see beautiful art made by local artists, but also support them as well by buying their artwork! The man who runs this store is so sweet and kind, he told us many stories of the different artists and also art festivals to look out for in Washington. His personal gallery upstairs is breathtaking with lots to see and be inspired by. Everything had a reasonable price, me and my bf both got ceramic mugs during our trip that we will always cherish and remember! Will definitely try and come back every time we stop by Mt. Rainier!

Loved this place, just make sure you bring your check book. Really enjoyed the mini museum about Japanese internment camps in the PNW and the upstairs museum of art was wonderful and very bold.

If you’re staying near the area or just passing through, this pottery studio, art gallery, and bookshop is well-worth the stop! There is a free art museum within the gallery. Spend as much time as you have looking at an extensive collection of prints, paintings, including art depicting the local mountains and Pacific Northwest, and work by local artists.Lots of lovely pottery— old photos and postcards make more original souvenirs for your trip to Rainier than something from a gift shop, and at super reasonable prices. Plus there are lots rare and unique books to browse— truly something for every art/nature lover!

An incredible little shop/studio/gallery I’m glad we stopped for! The entire upstairs is a gallery of local and indigenous art and the shop had a selection of artwork and books for sale. The owner was super knowledgeable and friendly. Absolutely worth stopping for if you’re on your way into or out of the national park!

This is a fantastic gallery featuring local art. I live near Rainier and buy art here for myself, but I would recommend this unique gallery to anyone visiting from out-of-state who would like an amazing souvenir of their trip that is classy. The gallery also has a unique book corner with new and used/collectible books where Mt Rainier and mountaineering are featured along with other books of local interest or focused on nature, national parks, etc. Take time to visit upstairs….owner Rick is an avid art collector himself with a strong appreciation for local history…all of which is well documented in the art he shares with the public.

We stumbled on this store on our way into Mt. Rainier park. We enjoyed talking to the owner while we looked around his store. It has photographs, paintings, ceramic pieces and other locally made items. I really liked some handmade, pepper grinders made of various wood he had but decided on a wall vase. I make it a point to buy local art whenever I'm out looking for souvenirs. I will definitely swing back in to this store when I'm in the area again.

I stopped by there heading back to Seattle after rounding Mt. Ranier. 15 or more years ago. I bought this 10" Orca bowl that I've enjoyed as an art piece and serving dish. Still in perfect shape.
