A private sculpture park and gift store located between Ashford and Elbe, WA just outside Mt Rainier National Park. The park is open to the public and is free but donations are accepted.Plenty of parking and a quiet clean place to walk and enjoy the artists recycled metal sculptures.Definitely worth a stop.

Don't miss your chance to see this one of a kind sculpture garden walk through.Make sure to leave a donation so Dan can continue making his art and sharing it with the world.Although I live in Illinois, I've been there several times. The sculptures are amazing and fun. It's a family friendly spot to wander around, amuse and amaze and take pics of the imaginative and clever sculptures.

Dan Klennert is a wonderful sculptor in iron but also with recycled wood and other materials his garden is his gallery you will get a sense the man in his work, his humor also in certain pieces and his reverence for creation in others the placement through his property is perfect too, You can leave donations or buy something at the store at the location

For art lovers, for sculpture lovers, for people on their way to Rainier, for welders, this place is a cool stop for anyone! We took too many pictures with the sculptures and don't forget to check out the back! We were about to leave without even seeing the backyard had we not seen people walking up from it. Such a cool spot to relax and enjoy some decades of personal art.

Almost everyone young or old will enjoy this sculpture park. There is no other place exactly like it. Great artistry and imagination. I find it so generous that this place is free to the public and at the same time - deserving a donation. This is a must stop and see place, a beautiful drive, especially if you are on the way to Mt. Rainier. And from the ample parking lot you will feel comfortable to begin your walk through the grounds.

A big thumbs-up for this unusual stop near Mount Rainier! Elaborate iron sculptures; some are very tall and some are regular size. The design is ornate and intricate; well done! It's a quick stop, well worth the suggested $5 donationby the Sculptor/Owner.

We found this little hidden gem on our way to Mount Rainier. If you like iron sculptures and a lot of imagination and creativity then this place is for you. The artist has spent most of his life creating and sharing his dreamThere is no cost but it is recommended that a donation is made and he also accepts Venmo. This is ideal for all ages.

Thus artist and what he offers to the public is amazing. The store wasn't open the day we went but it was well worth the 5 dollar donation. There's also picnic tables!

Free entry, and amazing iron sculptures. My photos didn't do it justice. I have great respect for the sculptor's skill. It's worth visiting.

This was a roadside gem that we are glad we did not miss! On our way to Paradise Inn on Mt. Ranier we turned around to go back and see it, and we were not disappointed. While the statues are stunning from a distance, when you get close and can see all of the individual parts of each statue you value even more the artistry that went into each piece. We were especially touched with the memorial garden at the back of the property. I am a cat lover, and so the beautiful story of the ugliest kitten the artist had ever seen which became a loved member of the family was especially sweet to me.Do not miss this roadside art exhibit. It may the best thing you see the whole day!

If you find yourself near Spirits of Iron, or even if you don't, a trip to the grounds is well worth it. You can see the sheer amount of creativity, tools and hard work that it takes for this man to make this place what it is. It's truly incredible! Admission is free, but donations are appreciated especially if you are taking pictures. I love the set up for the donations as well. Check it out, it's not only inclusive and fun, but also gives insight to his character. I can't even begin to explain all of his works. There are so many and each one is unique and created so particularly. It's cool to see the range that this guy has. One minute you see something small and cute, and the next you're standing infront of a life sized giraffe. There's even something Rated R in the back, which is quite funny and hidden from the eyes of children. This sculpture park is something special and you'd be mad to pass it up.

This place is amazing!! A must-stop on the way up to Mt. Rainier. The metal sculptures are simply incredible, with enormous, whimsical salmon, praying mantises, motorcycles, and more milling about the lawn as if out of another, more artistic dimension. Jay and family are a hoot to talk to, and be sure to visit the gift shop while you’re there to check out the smaller sculptures, antiques, and other artwork for sale.
