There was an unpleasant smell throughout the store and most of the shelves were half empty. Not much of a selection of snacks and everthing else but saw a rack of electrical parts?! Do stock up on yr grocery at a big supermarket (especially fresh produce) if you are intending to cook while in this area as the nearest grocery mart is in Eatonville tats about half hr’s drive away. N things r much pricier here n in Eatonville too.

Place had fine things to improvise from. Yes staff is Friendly and it is expensive because of the location. Its in the middle of no where so they can charge insane prices because ppl will need things .

I don’t get the positive reviews, they’re literally reselling Costco bulk items for an appalling markup.

Cost is greater than your usual store you may be used to, but they have an excellent selection of items. Definitely stop by if you may need something. One of two stores in town I believe. We were able to get some extra Ziploc bags, but still plenty of other items here. Seasoning for food, chips, snacks, a few other items, car parts such as oil and other, and a few toys and souvenirs. Shopkeep was nice as well. They sell park passes at the register as well. Cash and card both accepted. I believe card comes with a small service fee.

The cashier is kind and helpful. Unfortunately the store is poorly stocked. We were there on a Friday afternoon and a lot of items were completely missing.

Ask Ronda about her Peanut Popsicles. She is quite crafty and sells them out of her Pink Winnebago

Cute little store located in Ashford. Great store to stop and pick up some essentials on your way to out to the mountains. Fun, great service, and I love supporting local businesses. Thank you so much for being open! When we come through again, we'll definitely stop by.

I love Ronda the cashier she is fun and she can give you directions quite precisely and her attitude is pretty cool even after all the tourists have been thru there.

Okay, I may be biased because of the kitty but having visited a handful of remote areas, I've learned to appreciate the essentiality of the general store. They're stores that "generally sell all the things". This shop definitely achieves that. The day before, we were hoping to go to a grocery store but of course there aren't any. We happened upon a "market" which was nothing more than a gas station mini mart that didn't carry much at all. I had lectured my cousin at that point that the place to pick is always the General Store. One day later, we came here. It was a bit musky and run down looking, but the lady working there was super nice and the shop itself had TONS OF STUFF. Need pvc piping? This is your spot! Need random fishing supplies, you can get that here! Missing your pet cat at home? Come here and meet Samsung and make up for lost cuddles!Okay okay, in all seriousness though, we came here for a resupply on foods. We were able to purchase ground beef, pasta sauces and organic pasta! There was also a huge selection of ice cream and ice cream bars too. Not too much for the vegans, but that's to be expected. HOWEVER there were two instant noodles that were vegan/vegetarian-friendly, which was more than enough to make me happy. I didn't buy anything but was thoroughly impressed with my exploration of their curation of "general offerings". There were hatchets, ice scrapers, mops, cleaning supplies, random souvenirs and pretty much anything you can think of that you might need to get when staying in a cabin for a few days. One bummer was they sold out of eggs, but at least they carry them!Did I mention you need to visit because of the kitty? She's the cutest and had an adorable bed set up in one of the aisles. Sorry I didn't get a pic of it but just look at the kitty, Samsung!

Five stars because your cat is the cutest guy in the world!!!!!!!!!!!! Great variety at fair prices given its location, especially if you need fresh veggies. The Korean mart in the nisqually park area wants $1 for ONE EGG. So I am grateful this store has better and more fair prices! Thank you!
