23 members of Washington State Braver Angels met here for a working retreat, and it was the perfect environment for collaboration, healing, and civil discourse.

We booked one of the small cabins, the price is a bit high for the fact that you have shared toilets. But other than that we had a pleasant stay and the cabin was very cozy. The trails around the property are also beautiful.

Beautiful and serene place to relax, explore, and get married!Walkability: Wear shoes that you would wear camping, hiking, working outside. I wore comfortable shoes up to the ceremony and changed into the heels I planned to wear.

We came here for a wedding. The property is nice for an outdoor wedding venue. The sanctuary was beautiful in its natural state and I can envision it would be even prettier if decorated. The bridal house was charming. The outdoor space is nice for a small wedding. There weren’t enough bathrooms for the guests. Nice kitchen prep area and a nice indoor lodge with a beautiful stone fireplace. Each cabin is unique. There are a lot of roots and rocks on the pathways with no lighting in some areas so you have to be mindful if you’re handicapped. If your looking for an outdoor venue with natural features this is a nice place that can accommodate.

This place is unique, and in a beautiful woodland setting. It has lots of charm and beauty. I stayed in Trollhaven. The room was quaint and had every amenity, like wine glasses and coffee. But, our night was not good as we could only open windows to try and cool off in summer time 90degree heat and that let in the hungry mosquitoes. The room had one small desktop fan and it was not enough to keep cool. Overall I can't recommend this cabin that was expensive for a sweltering night on a small Murphy bed, bitten by mosquitoes. Maybe the other rooms have screens and or AC.

The hotel was nice but I was pregnant so when I ran into the woods to use the bathroom at 2 or 3 am in the middle of the night I threw up in the woods and I made a noise that seemed to scare some guy who was using the bathroom in the middle of the

The bunk beds are unsafe. Trails End cabin is not well maintained.

I stayed 4 nights in the Trail's End cabin because that was exactly what I was looking for -- off the beaten path, solitude and surrounded by the forest.Plenty of firewood to heat the woodstove, cozy and comfortable inside for me. I don't mind cooler temps indoors but I can see where an extra full sized blanket for the bed might be a good addition - especially during winter for the hours after the woodstove cools off until you re-light it in the morning. There is a plug in heater but using that would be cheating.I thoroughly enjoyed the peace and solitude and made sure to use the hiking trails that wind around the property every day. No internet, there is an option to use WiFi (I chose not to), no T.V. and I even left the electric clock unplugged for my entire stay ?. It was freeing to be unplugged for that long. This cabin is secluded but not isolated which was ideal for leaving the window shades open to watch darkness fall and see so many stars - more than I've seen in a very long time. The trek to the Gazebo area where the bathroom(s) are located was about a 2 1/2 - 3 minute walk down a winding trail. Each camper cabin is provided it's own wagon to use to haul things to/from the parking lot and back/forth to the bathroom(s) and sink area. These cabins are without plumbing/running water. There are lots of roots across the trail and it was difficult to maneuver the wagon filled with shower supplies, dirty dishes, container of drinking water, etc. It tipped over spilling the contents a couple of times. The other thing to consider is what to do if you need to use the restroom in the middle of the night...Overall, I loved my stay and would definitely stay again. Thank you Sunny and Staff for creating this wonderful hide away spot.

Very nice place to stay and so cosy. If you go in the winter time make sure to bring warm clothes because the warming system isnt the greatest.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay here, it was totally a great retreat (minus the closure of the spa and no access to hot tubs!), but we enjoyed the sceneries and quietness of the place, exactly what we were looking for to escape the city life a little bit. A few things I thought could be done better:1. It’s not cheap staying here per night, so the cabin should be cleaner than it is. The couch could use some deep pressure cleaning as it is dark and itchy when sit down. Everything else in the cabin was dusty and dirty, could use some wiping and cleaner bed.2. The classic cabin we stayed in was really dark, the sunlight doesn’t come through during the day and at night it’s even darker, we mostly had to use our own flashlights when looking for stuff/using the microwave/literally doing anything in the cabin. The flashlight provided in the cabin had DEAD batteries in it, kind of unsafe considering it was there for emergency purpose.3. Why was the fridge outside? Kind of unsafe.4. The cabin’s purpose was to retreat and unwind, however, should include a guide for emergency and who to call when having problems or emergency, it’s in the forest after all.

Love the cabins and wood stoves in the winter. This is a very peaceful and quiet place. Will come back and try in the summer.

Spent the day here for a wedding and it was beautiful! I was able to peek into a couple cabins and would definitely be interested in coming back to stay. I didn't take as many pictures as I would have liked because I was just in awe. Pnw at its finest.
