Service was outstanding; Selection - they had the chain size I needed to get up to Paradise (Mt. Rainier). Value - Good. The young men that were working the Sunday afternoon we needed their assistance were extremely courteous, polite and helpful. Thanks Ezra and Oliver - you two make added to a wonderful Sunday afternoon drive!

I mistakenly purchased a pair of used boots. The price was fair so I would have been fine to keep them excited they have fire damage leaving rough area inside the boot. They also run a bit small. I emailed the company and was told no refunds. Seems silly to burn a customer over $100 which I'm sure means a lot less to them then it does to me. Disappointing.

Burger and French fries are good. Nice, relaxing area to rest and eat. Nice staff and helpful. I rented what I needed for my hikes from this place. Clean public restrooms. All that you need in one stop.

Positive is the beautiful fire pit outside setting and food venue. Negative, rooms are very much in need of some upgrades. Way overpriced for what the accommodations offer.

Small selection of high quality outdoor gear. Nice and knowledgeable staff, a great place to get information on hiking/ Mountaineering in the Park. Support independent gear shops !

We rented our tire chains here as they were required by Mount Rainier during this time of year. The rental process was easy. We placed our order online the prior day and picked up with no issues the next day. They have a drop box so we didn’t have to rush to make it back before the store closed. They also have a separate spot that was a shop stocked with gear. And then there also appears to be a separate area where they serve food. The spot was great, I wish I had more time to spend here.

We stopped in here on our way up to Mt. Rainier. I am so glad we did! They sell a lot of quality outdoor gear and products, and they rent lots of things that you might need when visiting Mt. Rainier (including chains). The customer service was excellent too.

I'm an adventure expert and have used Whittaker for years. Renewing my equipment after excessive use will only be Whittaker-bought. They will never oversell expensive gear, but you get equipped for your needs.

It was VERY easy to rent tire chains for a one-day trip to Mt. Rainier. We didn’t book online and it took about 10 minutes to rent the chains in person. Drop off took only 15 seconds. The rental building is the building behind the main store. They have a QR code at the rental building to a video that teaches you how to put the chains on your tires.
