Their location is primarily they're selling point. Do you have a huge inventory about what they have is well priced and reasonable and quick to get to from home because they're right off of River Road. It's hit and miss with the staff some of them are really cool and some of them are just dries toast and not very friendly. All in all the services decent items that they do carry or good then I have a large selection but they got what you want the price will be right.

We are all getting receipt checked on the way out the door I understand it's to stop the thieves but it does get pretty tiring on people who don't steal

They are constantly out of everything. The produce is more often bad than good. There dairy department is filthy. I shop here almost everyday. I have watched this store deteriorate. I have been paying Uber to go to another store. I seen them spray disinfectant in the meat cooler. It splashed on the seafood. I asked about removing the contaminated products. It's ok it wasn't that much. Was the response I got. The only good thing about this store 4010A St. Auburn Washington is the cashier's and the one feller who fulfills the online orders. Please fix this store.

The produce area at this Safeway is great!

It's better than the Safeway off Auburn Way. Less people are asking for money at this one, and the parking is way better. The meat guy is super cool also. He deserves a raise.

This Safeway is in Auburn, Washington. I needed fresh Basil and was in the Produce section looking for a fresh bunch but found none. Above the Produce were small plastic containers with small portions of Rosemary, Mint, Thyme, etc.-- but no Basil. I had abandoned the limited Produce section at Walmart because they had no fresh cut Basil, although they had plants available for $4.99, which I occasionally buy. I resorted to commenting to a grocer restocking Produce there seems to be a scarcity of Basil and he said, "It's over here," and led me to a stand-alone bin in a center aidle between the refrigerated produce.. Why was it THERE? He said it was odd to place it there, also.
Mondays is 8pc Fried(or baked),Chicken for $5.99 and it's always fresh and hot. It's my regular Monday stop while visiting family up here.
Since leaving out of state decades ago I'm always reminded of the genuine friendliness and warmth of Auburnites but, I'm a homeowner in the Bay Area now.

Maybe it's just me but it seems like companies, grocery stores especially, don't really care if you shop there or not. This is reflected in the prices, the customer service (or lack of) and the policies like ridiculous digital coupons hoops to jump through. Cashier's and the people that stand and stare at you while you scan your own items really seem irritated if your transaction takes a few moments longer in order to sift through all the digital coupons. This location has an extremely friendly older gentleman cashier which is why I gave 3 stars. Many other employees just seem annoyed to be there.

Same Safeway but the prices are horrifying. No way to keep on keeping on at this rate.
