Auburn Goodwill is a thrift store that offers a variety of items including clothes, appliances, and decorations. Customers can find good deals, such as a sparkling fall wreath for under $10, and enjoy a well-organized shopping experience with a fast self-checkout system. The store is known for its friendly and helpful staff, who assist shoppers with outfit choices and watch belongings in the fitting room. The store has a colorful and organized layout, although sometimes inventory may be low and bathroom access is not available. Security is present in the parking lot, which can feel a bit unsafe at times due to the presence of vendors and bicyclists. Prices for clothes are comparable to other stores like Walmart or Burlington, and returns are possible, but only with a store-issued card that can be used only at this location. Overall, Auburn Goodwill is a good place for finding interesting items and supporting a nonprofit that provides job training and community support in the region.
Always a great day when you get to find that treasure.
December 2025
The store itself is large and has a fabulous selection! I went there around 5:30pm in the winter so it was dark outside. I don't know if this is a normal hangout for homeless and drug addicts, but there were a lot of them inside and outside of the store. Probably best to visit during the day time.
February 2025
The prices have risen. Today I found what I wanted at St. Vincent de Paul for ½ off of $1.99 for baby onesies.
