Ive shopped goodwill stores my whole 50+ yrs. They were great at one time. Now? They get such a overload of items that you have to wait to donate. Their stuff doesnt move fast enoph. All because why?? YOUR STUFF COSTS WAY TO DAMED MUCH! Not any more. 2 words. Salvation ArmyRe

Really didn't think I'd have to leave a review like this (seeing as how I shopped here before with no problems), but after the REALLY bad customer service today, they leave me no choice. My husband and I went to this location this morning to drop off a TV and do some shopping. He was immediately met with an eye roll and attitude when asking "when do donations open?" Completely unnecessary and RUDE but I let it slide. I start looking through the sweater aisle, when he tells me he needs to use the restroom. He goes and asks if he could use the restroom and the response is "No public restroom" in the most condescending tone. After that I had enough, I put what I was going to purchase and back and we left. Number 1. If a customer has a general question about when something opens, you can easily say "10 o'clock sir" Does it cause this staff physical pain to be pleasant? and secondly, not having an operating restroom when you run a business is pretty silly and unprofessional BUT no problem, because you can say "sorry sir, our restroom is out of order. The rite aid next door has one". So simple, and could of saved you a 1 star review. We ended up going to the Goodwill in Renton. MUCH and I mean MUCH better service. When my husband asked about donations, one of the workers smiled and said "I can help ya out", followed him to the car and assisted him with getting the TV out of the trunk. And guess what? THEY HAD A PUBLIC RESTROOM! Guys if you are looking to find some nice second hand items and fantastic customer service, go to the Renton location. Way more helpful, way more polite and all in all a better experience.

I showed up at 9:30am to drop stuff off before work, and was parked waiting in the line for 20+ minutes with no employees in sight… just a stop sign and multiple cars waiting to unload.I ended up leaving and will use a different Goodwill.

Today I called ahead before I put things in my car to donate to them . The manager I spoke with told me they had just closed the donations because they have no control over it . I asked when they would be open again the manager told me tomorrow at 9 am but I should call before I make the trip. She's correct I have made several trips to drop donations off and they have been closed at the time they were sopossed to be open . I'm not sure what's really going on here anymore I just wish they would follow their own posted hours of operation. Goodwill is now a multi billion dollar non profit business they should start running it like a business.

They NEVER have their donation drop-off open! They seem to pick their own operating hours. Extremely frustrating and unreliable. Don't bother loading up your car until you know for sure they're open and accepting donations!

I've been here a few times to donate and they are fairly picky and they currently don't accept any furniture so I would look somewhere else if you have anything like that to donate.

I've always had luck with finding just what I needed at this store. It's really looking good, too.

Not very clean you can smell the mites as you enter air not good for allergy people like me, musty smell upon entry. Walked right out, that musty smell will make you sick. The Gig Harbor Goodwill is good example of a no musty smelling Goodwill.

Horrible staff!!!!! I asked for them to open the bathroom so I could change my 15-month old. They saw that I was 7 months pregnant and were completely rude to me and my husband! Then kicked us out of the store and called the cops saying we were trash and disrespectful! The two employees that followed us out were completely disrespectful and unprofessional! Will never ever return to the store

Not enough carts for the customers. Sold out of bags to put my purchases in…the same purchases I had to scoot forward in a pile on the floor with me as I moved forward in line with no cart. They close this Goodwill at 6pm because of the crime in the parking lot and the money they could have put towards carts and bags goes towards a security guard that stands in front of the store and seems like he doesn’t know what to do with himself. He’s there to tell the people asking for carts that they are out. He seemed genuinely apologetic about it. That being said, it’s still a goodwill. I am happy with my purchases. Just remember to lock your car and bring your own shopping bag.

Very friendly staff. Clean store. Lots of stuff. The parking lot seems to have a lot of not so great activity going on. But this goodwill has a security guards now.

Goodwill is an okay business They turn what might have turned into garbage into profit But they treat their employees poorly and I've heard some unsanitary conditions and how some of the products can be in and how they don't clean them which is disgusting. But being able to find cheap clothing is nice especially since thrift shopping became a fad and prices went up. Still think some of the items prices are too high sometimes but they do constantly have sales and 25% off on Fridays if you get the coupon from the FB page.

The store is generally clean and organized. We continue coming back because we are always greeted by our cashiers with a smile and a friendly, welcoming attitude. especially Elias, he was so really gentle I would wait in a longer line to have his as my cashier. I usually can find what I’m looking for.
