My friend and I came in as a walk-in appointement and were seated immediately, which was a nice start. However, the removal of our acrylic nails was poorly done, and while the woman who worked on my nails was sweet, I don't think she had any experience. She winced when using the drummel on me, and was unable to tell where the acrylic ended and my real nail began. As such, when we were finished, we still had pieces of our acrylics stuck onto us under a layer of bubbled gel polish, with uneven nails that we ended up having to fix when we got home. Moreover, clean, sterilized bags that nail salons use with nail clippers, cuticle cutters, and files were not used in this salon. Tools were used in open trays interchangeably, which is always worrisome because you fear any knick you may get from them-- not knowing if they're carrying something more harmful from being used on a previous customer. We ended up opting out of getting out cuticles cut because we didnt want to risk infection or worse.
In the end, for getting two acrylic nails off (somewhat), and a clear, bubbled gel polish put on, we paid a total of $120.00 for a very disappointing manicure.

I go here for pedicures and they do a nice job at a reasonable price.

Very kind staff. Best pedicure I've gotten in Lakeland hills. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews, they were very accommodating and the pricing was less than we expected!

I came to Lakeland Nails on Sunday, to get a mani/pedi prior to starting my new job the next day. I arrived just before 4 (they close at 6), and they immediately had me sit at a pedicure station. I was instantly pleased with their willingness to take care of my needs! However, they were fairly busy, so no one came to start the pedicure till closer to 5. My top priority was getting a manicure (full set) because I am a habitual nail biter. They finished my pedicure and moved on to my nails. I specifically asked for a FULL SET, CLASSIC FRENCH MANICURE WITH DIP POWDER. The nail technician began cleaning up my nails, and then I noticed she pulled out a Base Coat. I then specifically asked if she was going to add tips to my nails to add length, and then business owner said yes, she will be adding, she’s just cleaning up the nail first. I showed an inspo photo (attached), and wanted cherries on the middle nails.
I kid you not, she just proceeded to trim my already short nails and gave me a freaking French GEL MANICURE with no extensions 😭 once I realized I wasn’t getting anything I asked for, it was too late to ask for a change based on the time of night (6:15pm at this point). My nails look so freaking bad…not worth the $125 I was charged for the mani/pedi. Will definitely not be back.

I first want to say that this review is not at all reflective of this establishment as a whole. My brother in law got his nails done at the same time and his nail tech was amazing. Mine however was rushing through all of the steps, he was not detail oriented and seemed to just want to get it done. I was left with a 60 dollar manicure that is terribly bumpy and sloppy.

They were nice so I feel bad leaving a bad review, but I had to pay for nails that looked nothing like what I had asked for. Before starting I asked if she could do the French tip design I showed in the picture. She said yes. I asked her to fix them three times and it just got worse as she went along. I was still charged the full amount for the service even after expressing I wasn’t happy with how they looked and asked for them to be fixed. She kept telling me they look just like the picture. I would have rather been told in the beginning she couldn’t do what the pictured showed and chosen something else then have to pay for something (in full) for something I don’t like at all. The picture below Is what I asked for and what I got. Not very happy.

They usually can squeeze me in on same day. I recommend to call ahead before you walk in to help them with time management. Friendly staff.

I am not happy with the salon services and their prices have skyrocketed more than expected. Out of respect for the employees and the business I'm not going to go into details. I'm not going back there.

Not a great experience.
Requested style: Asked for an ombre nail design they had examples of with a flower design. They gave me full color with a flower but it was ugly, misshapen and the sparkle wasn’t even centered. The more I look at it the less I like it…
Cleanliness: The lady who did my pedicure was fine and they rinsed the foot bath so it wasn’t unsanitary but the guy was too quick and left a mess while doing my nails.
Stylist: Guy stylist there was not good. He was nice enough but I did not like his work. Rushed through the acrylics, burned me slightly from going so fast with the file, didn’t even dust off the nail dust before applying the acrylics, I asked for a design that they advertised but he gave me something completely different, didn’t even fix the flower design. It was lopsided and he didn’t clean up the acrylic shavings off the nails, just painted over them. Overall very disappointed.

My husband and I come here from time to time for pedicures. It is always a relaxing time for us to spend together. Today was such an enjoyable visit. They were busy but not crazy and the staff was really relaxed and friendly today. My tech offered to paint a flower for me. I took her up on it and am so happy with the result - such a simple yet delicate and beautiful design.Services: Foot massages
