Went here today with my friend and had an awesome experience! Ted was so helpful and fun and made sure we had a great time. His personality was awesome and I can't wait to go back again. $30 is an amazing deal to be able to spend however long you want there!

I loved it here! The owner was super patient and he was an excellent teacher. He has a contagious upbeat and fun personality. He had us laughing from the moment we entered. On Thursdays & Fridays from 6:30pm to 8:30pm he has a beginners class. It's a drop in so no pre-registration. It's $11 per person and that does include the equipment you'll use like a wrist guard. He prefers cash. I went on Amazon and bought our own wrist guards for next time since that's probably more sanitary. It's a couple extra bucks if you want your own paper target to take home. I had zero experience with archery but by the time we left I was really close to the target. Haha. It's super safe, he makes sure of it. He shows you all the safety rules. The night we went it was only 3 of us, one was a young teenager. I was impressed with her skill after only going for a month. We had a blast having our date night. We are going again soon. It's great to support this small business and it's such a great deal. I like having good clean family entertainment in the middle of Auburn where there's not much else. Definitely give archery a try. Who knows, you could really enjoy it!

Went a couple of days ago with my friend. Ted, the owner; was touchy feely with her. Making her feel uncomfortable. He'll also try to peddle China market equipment at a high premium; even though it can be purchased for a fair price online. That was our first and last time there. VERY unprofessional, and a poor example of a gentleman.

Went to buy a bow tonight and shoot it for 2 hours, but like last weekend without the owner Ted there, the range closed at 5pm and 6pm instead of 8pm... not sure if they need to adjust their listed hours?

My team and I went to Orion for a Team-Building day! It was very fun. Though, we did get tired quickly because we were so hungry! Ted was a great instructor. He took photos for us, was very friendly, and made us laugh. You pay to go, and can stay as long as you like! This is a great place to go. ? I recommend!

Great price.$14 all day or $31 with rental. Nice owner too. I didn't need training just a place to shoot. He does come by and check and talk to people. Half of the people (lot of young kids learning with parents) I saw were new or learning. Seem to communicate fine. Archery can be dangerous so there are rules to follow.

Highly recommend. Wonderful for beginners and highly informative. We very much enjoyed our experience here and will definitely be back. Great equipment, facilities and especially customer service. Don't come if you don't have a sense of humor ❤️

What an awesome experience! My son and I decided we were going to try something new today and I am so glad we went here. They had all the equipment and provided great instruction. The owner was knowledgeable and above all, kind and personable. We had so much fun. Orion is a great place for both families and individuals to learn a new skill or sharpen their existing talent. We will definitely be back.

Ted is awesome! Our fit club adventure group decided to try archery this weekend. I have to admit I was super nervous when I walked into the range. Ted gave us easy to follow instructions & had us all hooked in mins. He really knows what he's doing & teaches it well. Will definitely be back soon! Thanks so much Ted!

The owner is very knowledgeable and nice. It was my first time doing archery, so he had to teach us everything from the basics. We did a class for two, and it was amazing. When we started, it was only 2 of us, but by the evening there were 4 more people; so seems like this place is popular, which is good! They also offer classes, parties, and gift certificates, and you can also purchase candies and drinks there. Overall, great experience and fun activity to learn something new, relax, or compete.

Our family visited on Beginner Archery Night (Thursday and Fridays) and we had a lot of fun! Luke and Ted are wonderful instructors. Luke explained instructions well and was patiently teaching my son how to carefully use a bow. Ted was always available and willing to answer questions and I appreciated how they kept a close eye on the range. Safety seemed paramount and made learning around a bunch of flying arrows still feel safe. This family operated business seems to love what they do. They carry recurve bows, have a decent selection of equipment, offer one on one hourly instruction, and it looks like their space can be rented for work events/birthday parties. They charge a range and equipment fee but the equipment fee is waived if you have your own bow and arrows. If you're new to archery, looking for a fun date spot, or just want fun family competition then I highly recommend Orion Archery!
