I called in this morning after trying to use the online refill service, trying to confirm whether or not the expected refill day I got (2 days out) was accurate. The woman at the pharmacy assured me that they could have it ready for me today, no problem. Great. So I come in about 4 hours later only to be told that they are completely out of my medication and that the pharmacy staff I spoke with lied to me. They told me to go to federal way, the next city over, so I did. When I showed up, I learn that they did not even attempt to reach out and begin processing the transfer, or did they even check if federal way had my medication in stock before sending me on this detour. I got lucky, and they had it ready for me in about 30 minutes. This is so messed up. You cannot and should not be playing these games and gambling with people's health. If I did not have my schedule open to throw an hour long detour in before the store in the next city over closed, or if they were out of stock, I would be screwed and forced to go through withdrawals. NOT OK.

Definitely sending my prescription somewhere else from now on. More than one time they have told me they don’t have my prescription hours from the time it was sent. I had to call my doctors office to make sure more than one time , and the doctors had most definitely sent it over and time and time again they say they don’t have my prescription. This has happened more than once i recommend picking somewhere else and saving yourself the hassle this has never happened to me at any other pharmacy. - UPDATE 7/28 i tried to give them a chance and maybe it was just a mistake but I’m afraid this exact same thing has happened with my mental health meds and i was supposed to have them on Friday. It’s Monday now and the prescription my doctor said he sent over last week somehow isn’t there at all still. I transferred my information to Walmart and won’t be coming back this is a hot mess i can’t even get the medication i need.

Would be NEGATIVE stars if possible! I NEVER use this location because every single time they screw something up!
Needed to send a script here this time and they lost it, billed it wrong, and for NO reason sent it to a different pharmacy. I have a text from THIS location from yesterday saying it was ready HERE! It was billed to my insurance so now they can't fill it without authorization from insurance. It took 30 min waiting in line to even get to the counter, now I'm sitting here for even longer waiting for them to DO THEIR JOBS and FIX yet ANOTHER mistake!!!!

I’m only giving 1 star because I have to, in order to write a review. I have worked in the medical field for 26 years and I would say that this is one of the worse experiences that I have had to date. The staff member got upset because I asked them if they could apply a discount card to my account for prescription that ended up costing more than I was used to paying for it. I was placed on a 6 minute hold, no one came back to say that the hold time would be long or that the pharmacist was busy just a long hold. After 6 minutes, I called back and the same person answered, as soon as I said hello, they just threw me on hold again without even saying” hold please”. I sat on the hold for another 4 minutes, then I hung up and called back again. Someone else picked up and asked me to hold. I was on hold for about 1-2 minutes, which was fine. The pharmacist picked up and I was explaining to her what happened. She stated that she was new and so was the person that I had spoken with and told me that they tried to help me, which was untrue. They did not try to help me. I didn’t want to argue with her. I just told her that I was looking for a resolution. I only wanted to know how much my medication would be prior to going to pick up, after the discount had been applied. She placed me on hold again and after 4 minutes. 14 minutes total time and no resolution, I gave up and hung up the phone. would never want anyone who I care for to have to deal with the passive rudeness that I had to deal with. This left me pretty emotional and empty. I had to reach out to another pharmacy to have my meds transferred.

They couldn't be worse if they tried. IF they answer the phone, do not rely on any of their information or answers to be true or accurate. They've been this way for years.

I have been going to this pharmacy every month , sometimes twice a month for 6 years straight now to pickup my medications and couldn't be happier with the treatment I recieve. I commute a 1hr round trip just to go to this location because they treat me so good. The pharmacy staff at this location is kind and respectful , always willing to do what they can to help ,esspecially if your a regular repeat customer and are kind to them. These pharmacists deal with rude angry customers all day everyday and iv seen it first hand many times while in line waiting. People leaving low reveiws need to remember we are all human and when you have to deal with bad angry rude customers most of the day about an intense sensitive item like meds and or deal with the rift raft thieves / bad people in auburn coming into the store harrassing them 24/7 you wouldn't be chipper all the time either. People commenting about medications not being available is not the pharmacists fault and a phone call ahead of time like I do goes a long way for them to insure they are prepared to fill your meds and or give you the correct information reguarding your particle prescription situation. The only downside to this pharmacy is the location, it's one of the worst safeways and has constant problems in the parking lot due to thieves , homeless people and drug addicts always lurking and hanging outside. If you can look past the bad location like myself and become a regular here I can assure you the kind staff will take care of you. 5 stars from me for the pharmacy staff, 1 star for the stores location . I grew up in the auburn area and unfortunately since I moved in 2013 it's gone way down hill in certain areas of the city.

This place was an amazing experience the staff there were so kind and helpful. They should really get paid more for their efforts. The staff were nice and the store layout was new shopper friendly. So this Safeway was an all around wonder to shop at, will return to it a lot.

Very bad experience, always send. My children's medications are here, and they never have them, then when they have them ready I come and they say they don't know why they sent me that text. Very bad, this day is the third time I have come for a medication that they say they have ready and when I arrive it turns out that it is a mistake that they do not have it ready yet, tomorrow will be the 4th time I have come I still cannot get my son's medication and he urgent. I really don't know where to complain, because this is playing with people's health.

I have been coming here for 10 years and they are absolutely the best. Just got a call to remind me that I have a prescription waiting for pick up. Lines are short..which makes it easier to get in and out. Thank you for the care you give.

I'm bed ridden which means times sometimes can be difficult. Safeway always looks out for me , the staff are always on top of it.

Used to like this place. Not their fault if theres a delay with their distributionHowever it is their fault when they dont call people when there is an indefinite delay.
