My experience with Sunset Kia was far from positive. The salesmen, John and Jorden, were consistently making offers and then taking them back as soon as I asked them to put it on paper. They gave me a trade-in offer, but once we decided on a price for the vehicle and I made arrangements to come in for the deal, they said they would no longer take my trade because they couldn’t give me a good deal on the car and a trade-in at the same time. The salesmen were rude and pushy throughout. I would not recommend anyone go to this dealership.

Such an AMAZING experience here! No pressure and Renzo was awesome! He made sure i loved my car and gave us a great deal! Tedd the finance guy was amazing as well! I will definitely refer everyone here!

I wish to thank the following people; Ted, Ryen, Rafael, Reese, Eddie, Leon as they all played an important part in the process. They understood my needs as gave individual attention with great team work. There was too much to accomplish on my first visit which at the end, I had to go with my gut instinct and trust. After the second day, it paid off as the complexities of the final leasing agreement were explained in detail which the interest rate remained in line with the preliminary plan. This then relieved me from anxiety and I left the second day feeling better. It is understood that selling cars and finance is what dealerships are all about, nothing wrong with that, BUT the comfort part being here is there was no typical obnoxious pressure applied I have had in previous years elsewhere. At the end of the day it was all about getting the right vehicle to fit my needs and at the terms I was expecting. The Mitsubishi Outlander 2023 PHEV SEL Platinum top of the range is better than I expected and can see that at the end of the 2 year term a high probability of purchase. The APR derived from The Money Factor of the transaction was in line with the car I traded I acquired in May 2021 when in December 2023, interest rates being much higher in general. That being acceptable and satisfactory.

The service department here is inept if not deceptive. I bought a Sedona Van from them and had airbag issues from the get go. They looked at it and said they couldn't tell what was wrong. As soon as the warranty was over, they now know what is wrong and wanted to charge me over a $1000.00 to fix it. No way, I doubt if they even know how to fix it correctly. I appealed to Kia corporate and they basically said, tough luck.I bought two Kias from them over a period of 3 years and this is how they treat loyal customers? Terrible company, dealership, and the service department is the worse I have ever seen.

regret buying kia . Kia knowing about the car stealing issues should be installing top line security devices on all there cars . I spent $700 on one and a car jack for the steering wheel after a few attempts to stealing my 2023 kia forte . I went a month without my car spent $1000 of dollars for a rental car as theives ripped out my dashboard causing damage . Never had a car alarm at that time which not sure why kia didnt do that in the beginning. Also upset about no spare tire found in trunk on a $ 30,000 car ? I like my car but never will refer anyone to buy one . Kia could have done more .thanks. sandy jackson updated review . One star maybe .

We had the best experience in buying a Kia Sportage for my daughter in Kia Sunset in Auburn. CJ, the sales agent who made this purchase happen for us, is amazing. He has given excellent service from our shopping experience til delivery. We highly recommend this dealership. For anyone who wants to buy a car, go to Sunset Kia in Auburn and look for CJ. He’s the man!

Worked with Brandon at Sunset. One of the best experiences working with a car salesman. I came in initially for a test drive of the ev6. Brandon got me set up quickly and we were driving about 10 min after showing up. He answered a lot of questions regarding EVs that I had, and offered insight on ownership. Never felt any pressure from him. He followed up once just to check in and offered his assistance on questions I had. Ultimately decided to work with Brandon to lease the car. I thought he was fair in our negotiation and got the price I was looking for. Go see Brandon at Sunset Kia!!

With little credit and a tight budget Sam worked with/for us as if we had all the money in the world. He had things all set up when we arrived and was super easy and helpful. He treated us as if he knew us for years even though we just met. Honest, accommodating, polite, and very helpful. Finance worked to get us a great rate and fast. Great car buying experience. Sam is your go to guy for buying a car and Sunset is really Great all around.

I went in to buy a new car was mad because I didn't like the deal, or how it went down. Leon was super helpful, and cancelled my contract with zero hassle. So, my one star is now five stars. Thank you, Leon. Sorry it didn't work out.

So slow and poor communication. Had my Kia in for warranty work and of course all three parts needed were delayed. That happens, however it should have been communicated to us. 2 weeks in and still waiting. Nobody seems to know how long!!!!

5 stars for the sales team, 2 stars for the finance person.The sales people I worked with, John and Sam, were terrific! They were patient, respectful, listened to what I said, answered all of my questions clearly, and were really easy to talk to. They were also great conversationalists while we were waiting for our turn to meet with finance, who was really backed up.The experience when we sat down to sign paperwork was a 180° flip. The finance person was condescending with me the entire time and insulted my husband to boot! We almost left! He tried to sell us on extra warranties that would have raised the car payment by 55-70%. I came in with financing already and he tried to sell me on different financing (another hard inquiry on my credit if I had agreed) for a longer term (higher interest rate) so that he could try to make me accept hundreds of dollars extra on my monthly payment. We did eventually walk out of there with the car the sales team helped me pick out, at the monthly payment I initially agreed to. But I felt reeeeally anxious and intimidated at the end of the process.
