Worst place to get meds filled. I've never been to a place and had some much trouble. Completely incompetent people in this pharmacy. Rest of the staff is great.

I would like to share experience we had with Pharmacist Hangmah A.
Approximately 45 minutes before closing, we approached the pharmacy to fill an emergency room prescription. Initially, Hangmah A informed us that no prescription was found in the system. After we provided the physical prescription from the emergency room, she laughed and stated that they would not be able to assist us due to a “long line,” despite her coworker being available and not assisting other customers at the time and 1 person in line.
When we requested that she at least verify if the prescribed medication was available, she was initially unwilling to check. Only after insistence did she check and confirm that the medication was indeed in stock. However, she still refused to help, citing the fact that there were only 45 minutes left until closing.
Throughout the interaction, Hangmah A was dismissive, disrespectful, and even laughed at our situation. When I explained that we urgently needed at least one of the prescribed medications due to the emergency, she responded that she “didn’t really care.”
This behavior was extremely unprofessional, especially given the urgent nature of the situation. We trust that your pharmacy upholds a higher standard of care and customer service, and I hope appropriate actions will be taken to address this matter. I attach the photo of the “line”

Was told that they would give me a call today and let me know when my new prescription would be available for pick up. No reply. I called at 7pm on my way home from work and waited the whole hour only for them to turn the phone system off so I couldn’t receive anything. Horrible experience. Will be taking my business elsewhere. Wouldn’t suggest this place to my worst enemy.

For the most part, my experience has been okay at this location until about a few months ago. Melody at the pharmacy dept has serious attitude issues. No greeting, rolling her eyes. Well, hello to you too. First time, ok maybe she’s having a bad day. Second and third visits, still same bad attitude.

Everyone is always nice, but the store general manager and corporate needs to enforce some sort of dress code. The woman helping me wore a midriff top and pajama pants. Another employee was in bedroom slippers. Please have higher standards for employee appearance. Give these guys a coat or polo shirt uniform??

It had been a long day when I arrived at Walgreens Pharmacy in Lake Tapps just before 5:50PM. I had been up that morning at 8AM, driving around looking for a dentist for my wife. She had been heavily in pain for days and ended up needing an emergency root canal that was performed that afternoon.
Root Canals are just awful. The needles, the drilling, it's like torture. And once the numbing wears off, the pain of the procedure can be excruciating.
I dropped my wife off at home and immediately left to collect her prescribed pain meds from the pharmacy at Walgreens Lake Tapps. In my rush, I forgot my wallet, but figured I would be ok as I could pay by tapping my phone. Well, my phone wasn't working, and the time was now 5:55PM, 5 minutes before the close of the pharmacy.
My mother in law lived right around the corner and quickly left to come meet me at Walgreens with money for the prescription. I explained all of this, including my wife's procedure and pain to Preetham, the Pharmacist.
He didn't see to care a fig. In fact, he mentioned that he would be closing at 6PM on the dot, no matter what. I pleaded with him to stay open just a short 5 more minutes so I could get my wife's medications and he rudely, and flatly refused, telling me it was not his problem.
He told me that he needed to get home on time for his son. And I wish I had told him at the time that if I were his son, I would be happy to wait an extra 5 minutes to see my father if it meant he could be a hero to somebody.
Preetham dropped the metal divider in my face at 5:59pm as I was pleading with him to stay open.
I wish I could tell you what that felt like. I wish I could tell you what it felt like to try to sleep that night, hearing my wife's sobs from the other side of the bed due to the enormous amount of pain she was in. What I CAN tell you, is that I sincerely hope that you don't end up relying on someone like Preetham when your family is in need.

My doctor sent a prescription here which I picked up no problem. The issue came when I attempted to refill the prescription online.
I received an email saying my prescription was ready but when I went to pick it up, the pharmacy said they had no record of the refill nor the original prescription.
When I asked why this happened and how I could make sure it didn't happen again, they shrugged and said the system was terrible and there was no way to prevent it.
I will be transferring my prescription elsewhere.

Great store always has been friendly and knowledgeable ?Last couple of years since a ton of people moved here from other states it’s been getting trashed unfortunately people have no respect for anyone or anything it seems these days and no manners or class mostly transplants from other statesand I’ve lived in the area for over 30 some years sad really

This place is a joke, the pharmacy is full of incompetent jacka$$es who play graba$s all night. You sell me my prescriptions one week and then refuse the next with zero explanation and make me run around all night just to refuse to sell it to me because I had insurance?

Horrible experience recently. I felt belittled and disrespected by the pharmacy tech as well as the pharmacist. The pharmacist slammed the phone down at the drive thru when speaking to me. I had questions regarding my prescription and medication and he was bothered that I expected him to do his job. Very disappointing.
