I had previously been to Firefly years ago but moved. I returned to Bainbridge and mad an appointment to see Todd, one of the owners who writes that he does precision hair design. He acted totally disinterested. I showed him three pictures of what I would like and he did the cut below. He never used a mirror to show me the back of my head. I specifically asked him not to give me a masculine cut at the back. As can be seen the total cut is a mixture of masculinity and hot mess. If this is precision cutting I am floored. My dog is styled better than this. The first picture (with darker hair) is what I asked for, the second picture is the hack job I received from Todd. I after getting home I looked at my hair from all angles (something I was not able to do in the salon). I immediately called and asked for a redo. I requested Bronwyn as she had cut my hair before. Initially Bronwyn agreed but when I couldn’t make the initial time offered due to a conflicting appointment she then decided “to think about it”. She is a co-owner of the salon. This was my first time at Firefly. Todd was so wonderful and gave me the best cut - he knew how to work with my finicky bangs! He also rearranged his schedule to find a time that would work for me. So appreciated, I will be back!

I love Firefly Salon - it's easy to book appointments and the front desk staff are great. Emanuel is my hairdresser and he does an excellent job.

I had such a positive experience with Emanuel! He gave me just the cut and color I had hoped for, taking such care to listen and understand, asking all the right questions and making me feel comfortable from the start. He is so genuine, kind, easygoing and talented. I'm so glad I decided to give Firefly Salon and Emanuel a try!

Excellent experience from the welcome to the hair wash, the cut and finally my favorite- the blow dry. I went from leaving my house looking like Cousin It to returning to “wows” by my teenagers! High praise indeed!

I recently visited Firefly Salon on Bainbridge Island for a haircut with Todd, and I must say, I had a fantastic experience. The salon was impeccably clean, Todd was both professional and friendly, and I absolutely love the result of my haircut. It was truly rad!
