Huge selection of gear and clothing for a relatively small store. I picked up a Fjall Raven bag- been wanting one for a while. Prices here were fair. Employees I interacted with were friendly and helpful.

Very nice store with a good selection of outdoor gear. I came here to get some Solomon shoes, as I needed a pair of waterproof shoes to walk to class in. Unfortunately they didn’t have my size but the workers were very helpful with their assistance and recommendations on what models I should be looking for.

Everything you need, nothing you don't. Great local spot to pick-up MSR fuel canisters, freeze-dried food, pack covers, and other pre-adventure or pre-travel necessities.

A nice little outdoor store, if you need to grab a rain jacket or supplies for your next camping or hiking trip. The store is a bit small so selection is limited but overall a nice store with friendly staff and good quality items.

Friendly staff. Great selection of outdoor goods and locally represented gear. Can compare it to Sportago out of St. Helena, CA.

Lots of cool gear but unfortunately the employees were extremely rude to my children and thus they lost business. I was about to buy something quiet expensive and after the third comment from an employee about my toddler (who was truly acting like a normal 3 year old, not even extra rambunctious), we decided to leave.

I've worked Retail for 15 years, and I don't normally write reviews on places. This is a cool shop. Visiting from seattle with friends doing the touristy thing. Walked in, poked around inquiring about benchmades knife policy regarding repairs. after getting hit by a car while riding my bike with my knife clipped to my pocket the clip got all scratched up and ground down. I wanted to see if they could fix it. The sales associate was talking to me initially (super nice), they turn to refer to the manager/ owner (Steve or Kerry I'm assuming) and the guy just tells me they can mail it into them and they might be able to fix it possibly replace it. I told the guy I'm not local and he says it doesn't matter he's happy to help out. No cost, no where's your receipt, just: let's help you out. This is good customer service. Thank you, I felt obligated morally to share some kind words thank you Wildernest hats off to you. I know I didn't buy very much (Nalgene bottle and a wallet,) but I appreciate you wanting to go that little extra for the outdoor community.

Best store on Bainbridge- hands down. This place has incredible ownership, such helpful staff, and phenomenal brands. Definitely a must visit when you visit Bainbridge.

How awesome was it when we first rode the ferry to Winslow and discovered this gem of an outdoor shop on the way to the Olympic mountains. Several years later, we now live within walking distance

The people who run this store are awesome!! We visited Wildernest store on bainbridge island in July. Making a long story short, I emailed the store when I got back home about an item. it was out of stock when I called. They went out of their way and remembered to send it to me when it was in stock. Thank you so very much!

This store has everything you need for hiking or just looking for comfortable clothes. Very friendly and much larger than the storefront looks.

Just visited this store today and quickly realized they don't carry anything above a large for women. I searched all pants and tops - not a single XL. For every item to not have anything over a large is not just a coincidence or that they're sold out. This is clearly a fat shaming ploy, which is disgusting. I had planned on purchasing some Patagonia pants. But when my partner and I realized they didn't have anything for larger women, I put the item back on the rack. I refused to patronize this place, even though they had my size.
