This review is for Wendy and Jacob only. I drove 15 minutes to pick up some plumbing materials. I got home and my 1 1/2" pipe was actually 1 1/4". Jacob pulled it out of the bin, but didn't check the size. Luckily we had a 1' section at home to get the repair done. I went in today to get some gas fittings. I asked for a manager and got Wendy the assistant. Asked her if I could get a credit for the pipe, it was a whopping $3.49, and she said "ABSOLUTELY NOT, not without the pipe, you will need to bring it back in". I stated that I live 15 min from the store and it was not worth the time and gas for $3.49! She didn't care and said that she could not fault Jacob entirely because he grabbed a pipe from the correct bin and someone else had to have put it there. Excuse me, but it was not my fault he didn't verify the size BEFORE he cut a foot off and gave it to me! He had the elbow and other pipe that he was fitting it to so he should have noticed the difference. I didn't check it as I assumed he knew what he was doing. So much for customer service on Wendy's part. I will go to Amboy in the future. Do it Best is much more friendly and customer service oriented!

I was there today wanted some steel wool and tack clothes told which ilea it was on found steel wool not tack cloth walk around ilea at least 5 Tim we s no help wondered thru store for property signs and looked for a couple other things no help around 830 in morning not busy I left discussed will go to home depot

I was just in there today and needed some gas fittings for my barbecue. They found the exact parts and knew exactly what they were talking about. Great customer service.

Battleground, Wa location is very convenient when you don't want to drive all the way to Lowes or Home Depot, and you can often find things you can't find elsewhere. However, they tend to be priced higher, and staff generally at this location are not friendly, no sense of humor and somewhat rude. Multiple times I get to the register, no hello, no how are you today, just grabbing the product and start scanning/entering the codes. And some of the staff walking around were not very approachable and didn't seem to want to help. So I'm not sure if some staff need the job, but don't like their job, if they don't have experience in customer service, but a smile and great attitude can go a long way. I go to this store when I have to, but gladly go elsewhere, driving further down the road where I can save money and get better customer service. There are many companies hiring right now, so if it's a case where you don't like your job, well then, QUIT.

I can't say enough good things about my visit to Ace Hardware. I needed license plate screws and couldn't find them at Napa, so I went to Ace today. I spoke with Dwight in the hardware department. He not only directed me to where the screws were, but after finding out that I didn't know what size I needed, he brought several different trays of screws outside and tested multiple different sizes to find me the right fit, all in the middle of a torrential rainstorm. The amazing service didn't stop there. Dwight voluntarily installed my license plate and wouldn't take a tip for doing so, even though he had gotten thoroughly soaked in the process of helping me out. On top of that, he gave me a discount on my purchase! Without his help, it would have taken me a lot more time and effort just to figure out what size I needed. His customer service today went above and beyond what I could have asked for anywhere! Thank you again, and God bless you, sir!

Don’t waste your money on the Ace Hardware wet & dry multi purpose sprayer. It is another example of ineptitude in terms of engineering. Hi ho hi ho back to the drawing board we go.
