Abby and Emma are Amazing!!! We were doing something to help someone in the community. They were So Gracious and helpful!!! My old, broken body was going to be a little late on returning van. They were more concerned about me than the clock. They earned my loyalty to you guys and shout outs to the community!!! Good job on hiring them!! Thanks 😊😊😊

This the worse place payed rent and then moved stuff out and then they would refund me the rest of my money, I will never use them ever again.
No the place was rented by my aunt Debbie Penix.

When I called Battle Ground Mini Storage they were a professional and understanding helping me figure out what size truck worked best for my needs. Monday 7/22 I signed a contract with Battle Ground Mini Storage for unit number 404. Tuesday 7/23 around 7pm I went to my storage unit, and found that there was a lock placed on the door, preventing me from accessing the unit. The office was closed. I called and left a voicemail.
Wednesday, my plan was to ride my motorcycle to the storage unit, store my motorcycle in my storage and pickup the 20ft uhaul truck I reserved for an 8am pickup. I had already supplied my registration insurance for my motorcycle.
Because a lock was placed on my unit preventing me access, I was not able to store my motorcycle, and forced to catch an Uber to pick up the uhaul.
When I arrived to pickup the uhual the morning of 7/24 at 8am, after paying for the uhual and completing majority of the self check-in process, I found there was not a combination lock on the back of the truck. I looked all around the truck and inside the truck. I called uhual customer service, who attempted to reach the site manager. The site manager did not answer. I was then transferred to the schedule department. From there I was rerouted to Orchards location. Due to Battle Ground Mini storage not upholding their end of the rental agreement, I then had to take another Uber to the Orchard location.
I arrived home at 9:30am versus my planed time of 8:30am. I hired movers through uhual to start at 9am. So I lost 30 minutes of moving time, as they were sitting waiting for me.
I called the Battle Ground mini storage location and spoke to Emma. Emma advised a lock was placed on my storage unit by mistake from there their security team. She also advised she didn’t know why the combination lock was not placed on the truck, and that my reservation was in the system for self check-in.
As of today Emma is ignoring me. I have emailed Battle Ground Storage Unit on 08/13 and 08/19, and I have not received any response.
This is the total cost I ensured due to Battle Ground Mini storage placing a lock on my storage unit causing me not to have access to my unit and for their staff not setting the combination lock on the truck:
1st Uber trip-$21.44
2nd Uber trip-$34.68
Movers: $47.50
Total $103.62
I would like to be reimbursed for $103.62. In addition, I canceled the storage right away, due to having to get a unit elsewhere and I was told I would receive a refund, for $44.84 for the unit, and I have not.

I needed a U-Haul recently for a move and Emma, the lady at the front desk, was a huge help! She walked me through the whole process clearly and effectively, and was polite through the whole experience. Will definitely come back in the future.

It was my first time renting a U-Haul and the girl was super helpful with the whole process. Thankfully they had a bunch of moving supplies too because I had forgotten to buy some things beforehand. Overall I'm glad I picked this place ?

Hometown Storage in Battle Ground on Grace Avenue has the greatest hosts!! They were kind courteous and walked me through every detail including walking me to the storage shed and explaining about entrance codes locks etc. This is our 2nd time in 12 years renting from Hometown Storage. Try them you will love them!
