Absolutely THE WORST. They charge you double the going price for propane if you rent the tank from them. Then they give you less than 20% of the value of the propane remaining when you return the tank AND they charge you to pick up the tank $150. SO, I had a 500-gallon tank with 100 gallons remaining and I OWE THEM $66 Unbelievable RENT your tank from anyone else

Loren, Cali, and the rest of the Suburban Propane crew have been great getting us set up with propane for our kitchen remodel. We had several schedule changes and they accommodated us without complaint.

Rich was awesome, he checked in when he arrived. He proceeded to go over with me the best placement of my tank, which was so very helpful. Great guy and fast service. I highly recommend Suburban Propane Battle Ground :)

I had my tank switched out for a larger tank, the driver was friendly and knowledgeable. Work was done when promised and in a timely manner.

I can hardly wait to change to a new provider. We were out of propane for 10 days with no heat and was told the driver wasn't comfortable driving to our home due to weather conditions. Meanwhile, Amazon, Waste Management, USPS, our plumber had no problem coming to our home. We weren't a priority because it wasn't our delivery day. Meanwhile our neighbor ran out of propane and their service provider came to deliver at 2am in the morning same day knowing this was a crisis situation in the Northwest.

They don't answer their phone. They don't like business. I would suggest not giving them your business.

We have never lived on a property or in a house that required propane until NOW so I have zero other companies to compare to but we just recently purchased a propane Generac generator to run our place when we have power outages. The whole process of getting a 500 gallon tank, laying a concrete pad on our own to trenching 80+ feet to lay the gas line in from start to finish seemed seamless. First off Calliebeth is probably who you will be dealing with on the phone and she is nothing short of AMAZING! Every time I called Suburban Propane I would get the pleasure of chit chatting with her. She’s great! And she remembers me when I call too! I love not having to explain the same things over and over. Her husband Loren is one of the few that work out in the field either delivering the propane and/or tanks or hooking all of your gas lines together. He’s equally AMAZING!!! He’s very knowledgeable and can help you out with any questions or concerns that you might have with a smile on his face. Thank you Loren and Calliebeth for getting us all set up and ready for another winter in the gorge.

I phoned Suburan in July or August (2023) to pick up my tank. The receptionist I dealt with on the phone was great, and the guy who picked up the tank was also great. If that had been the kind of response I got from Suburban over the 10 years or so that they were my propane provider I would not have cancelled service with them. Unfortunately, their prices were about twice (maybe more) than I am paying now, and it took them over a year, and another reminder call, to come and get their tank after I changed providers in summer, 2022. My current bills are half (maybe less) than I was paying with Suburban. I really wish I had done more checking around before I signed up with them originally.

I'd give this company 0 stars if I could. We moved into a new home two years ago and acquired the previous owner's tank with no propane left in it. We still were charged fees for a new tank due to opening the account. Poor, rude customer service later, we ended up getting an emergency fill. After about a month of using the tank, it came to our attention by a technician that our reader was broken and couldn't accurately tell the driver how much propane was in the tank. I called and asked for a replacement tank multiple times, being told I would get charged again even though I had paid for a new tank when we started services. I agreed to pay because at the time we wanted the propane and used it solely to heat our home. They sent out a technician to change out the empty tank and he refused to take it, saying it was full. We tried telling him it was empty and that the reader was broken, hence the reason he was picking it up! I called and complained about this multiple times and no one ever came to fix the problem or even seemed to care. At that point we just gave up and stopped using the propane. Luckily we had back-up heat sources. We finally closed our account out this year, the lady said she would call me back with a time to pick up the tank and said I would need to be there (during my normal working hours). No one ever called me back for months and then one random day a technician showed up in my driveway- luckily I was working from home that day. Ended my services with another $170 bill for cancelling my account with a broken tank that was never attended to for years. The amount of money wasted in fees from this company is ridiculous. Go somewhere else.

For 20+ years they treated us well, then their prices start to rise way above the other companies, at times twice what others were charging per gallon. We finally changed companies. They left our tank in our driveway for over 4 months, I had to help the retriever find my place and then I get a bill for over $300 for removal of my tank. Originally they said it would be $125. The leaders in the old company cared about their customers, the new generation.....

Poor, lack of communication! I called the local office in Longview Wa to ask some questions but they were closed, left a message for a call back twice and never got a call back! I then got a delivery for propane, 11.5 gallons for a $165.00 as i apparently needed it as an emergency fill up. My tank is 120 gallons I was down to 65%, the tank full was at 80%! I was not in need of an emergency fill up, but since I couldn’t talk to anyone in the local office I was unable to ask questions about when to get my tank filled or topped off. I paid my $165 for the 11.5 gallons of propane but now seriously considering a different company to deal with.

The guys showed up to survey where to put the propane tank that I had ordered for the greenhouse where I had several thousand plants to protect against the frost and within two days they bought the tank and set it up and started the heater for me just in time for the cold weather we are now experiencing. Excellent work!
