They went above and beyond to help me figure out what was wrong with my vehicle. They were a true blessing doing everything they could to help me afford to fix my vehicle in my toughest of financial times.

I can't say enough good about these people. I came into town on a very dark rainy night and ran over something metal in the street. Immediately blew out my tire and hit the bottom carriage of my car. I drove block to my destination on the flat tire. Next morning my car was towed to North Shore Auto-whom I never met prior.
Nate was great from the get go. Although they don't do tire repairs he offered to inspect the entire under carriage, wheel, axels, hoses, belts, leaks, cracks the whole kit n kaboodle. Good news-everything looked but my muffle needs to be replaced. He put my spare tire on for me. Referred me to Les Schwab for new tire(s). Then call him when I'm ready for the muffler. No pressure sales, no unnecessary urgency. Just 1 thing at a time. He didn't see any reason to add stress to a person who just moved to town within the last 24hrs. Nate is genuine through & through and quite obviously loves what he does. Kudos to Nate!! And Kudos to North Shore Auto Works for hiring people like Nate.

I was on a long trip and driving into the Bremerton area when my check engine light came on. It was one of the coils and the engine was running rough and eating gas. I camped in Belfair and asked some friends for mechanic recommendations. The first shop said 2 weeks, the second said 6 weeks. Then another friend recommended North Shore. Nate said he could look at it that morning. Nate was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I dropped the car off , went to lunch with a friend and by the time we finished I got a call from Nate saying the car was ready. Not only that, Nate used a spare coil I had for the repair, so all they charged me for was $95 labor. Most shops now would have charged me for new parts and a lot more labor, but North Shore is the rare honest shop. Highly recommend them. My only regret is I couldn't take Nate and the whole shop back to my hometown in New Mexico.

I was recommended this mechanic by my boss and it was honestly the best recommendation I’ve ever gotten. Nate was truly so kind in listening to all my details about my vehicle, was able to get me an appointment super fast, quoted me more than I actually paid and definitely healed some past trauma with previous mechanics. They definitely have a customer for life!

I just want to relay how awesome these people are! We drove our ailing, 2005 Chevy venture in after 5 PM on Thursday, and they were able to get it back to us by the end of day, Friday, ready to get back on the road.
As you might know, our vans are very important to us, since they allow my wife to be able to travel in her power wheelchair. Yes, our 2005 is getting long in the tooth, but the people at North Shore Auto went above and beyond, especially with their already heavy work load. Thank you so much!

After trying to get ahold of several local mechanics and never getting called back or being quoted a new car price to replace the engine in my KIA, I found these guys. They were super friendly, got me in very quick, completed the job ahead of schedule and under the cost I was quoted. That has NEVER happened to me before! Car runs like a dream. My only regret is not finding them right away. I would highly recommend North Shore Auto Works.

2018 Jeep Wrangler shredded the serpentine belt a few miles away from this shop. I called them and they said they could get me in same day. True to their word, they got me fixed up within a couple of hours. Very friendly service and great price.

This morning I ran out of gas due to a faulty fuel gauge and I coasted into North shore auto works parking lot just before opening, Ill admit my final resting place was far from ideal as I barely coasted in, I asked one of the early bird employees if he could spare a gallon of gas so i could get this heap off of his property so i wouldnt be in the way and they could go on and conduct their business as usual and he smugly told me that he didnt have any gas..I then told him that I would have to be parked there for a short while while i figured out how to get to the 3 miles or so to the nearest gas station to get some fuel to which he nodded.I made some calls and finally was able to get some help from a family member and within 15 minutes I was picked up and on my way to fill my gas can. I couldn't have been gone for more than 20 more minutes round trip and as I'm pulling in I see the same employee aggressively rapping on the tinted windows of my vehicle where my wife was laying back trying to get some relief from a horrible headache and he rudely tells her that "they will give us some gas but we have to get the hell out of there"" and i jump out of the truck with gas in hand and said" i told you id be back pal".....Thanks buddy, how come you couldn't spare a gallon of gas when i asked you in the first place and avoid all the nonsense from the git go. It doesn't cost much to be a decent person, You're a real humanitarianHope that you receive the same world class treatment next time hard luck falls on you. Good day sir?

Bought a 1962 Ranchero that had motor mounts replaced here and this is what they used. Wrong part for this car and these bolts should never be used for anything with a torque setting.Service manager seems well aware of these issues and doesn’t have a problem with this kind of work. I would take my classic car elsewhere. The motor is not the stock motor and that was enough to throw them off. They managed to make it fit but these bolts just don’t look safe to me. Particularly the long skinny bolt.I don’t think they looked very hard for mounts. I have a set for a 62 Falcon and they look like they line up perfectly. Totally different style of mounting.
