They always deliver my mail on time and the drivers often give my dogs treats. This week I was expecting a package of seeds which due to a new driver and my unmarked mailbox resulted in the package being returned to the sender in Maine. I spoke with a postal worker who told me it couldn't be held for pickup at that time since it's location wasn't yet known. I was frustrated and I apologize that I was a bit rude. The next day I was surprised and very happy to see the package at my door! Thank you guys.

EDIT: has reached a point where the post master is useless, the drivers can't read an address or name, and every experience in the post office is miserable so I called and filed a complaint I recommended you do so too. 1-800-275-8777
Here to say what pretty much everyone has said. Lazy and incompetent postal workers. Came in to ask about a package that was marked delivered but never received just for the guy at the counter to tell me he couldn't check the tracking number. That would have been acceptable had he not more or less walked away from me mid conversation. The amount of times I have to return mail that's not mine is ridiculous especially because there's a note on the mailbox with the names of the people that are actually living here.

Was told package was scanned delivered to my address and placed buy garage door or other structure at address. The only problem is there are no other structures at my address.

The postmaster at the Belfair post office has no work ethics which has now been passed down to the employees. Mail comes the post office in a timely manor, but doe not get in the boxes by the time they state it should be there. If you're tracking your mail, don't believe them when yhey say it's in your box, you'll just waste a trip to find an empty box. When they do put mail in your box, they take no regard if package says fragile or do not bend, they will bend fold & cram it into your box. Mind you, there's plenty of larger boxes just for largers packages, but putting the package in there so it doesn't get ruined, & putting the key in your box is either to much work or beyond their scope of common sense. I know, you're thinking, why not get it delivered to the house? Well we have no choice, there's no delivery to our house( even tho there's a business around the corner1 block away that gets mail) we would have to put up a mail box across the HIGHWAY from us & then navigate 60+ MPH traffic to send & recieve mail, I'm not frogger. The bad service option outweighs the life threatening option of getting my mail, & we get no sympathy from the post master, he's kind of rude most of time too. Everyone we know that gets mail delivered, says they're deliveries & carriers are wonderful!

Had a forward address for a few months while out of town. When returning we found out the delivery person assumed it was a forever forward and sent our mail back. Post master sent a “whoops” response with no help on how to revive the package. Finally the package made it to the mail recovery center, to which I called and got little help. Because of the way it was shipped there is no recourse to USPS (I had no option on how it was shipped). Due to the negligence of this office I don’t have my package and am potentially out the money unless they magically find it, which I doubt. Had lost master helped on original email they probably would have found it before going to the mail recovery center too. Guy should be fired

Instead of delivering my package PO placed a a notification of attempted delivery. PO did not attempt to deliver my package the reason why I know PO didn’t was because I work from home. Also my office desk faces towards my driveway to where I can see anyone drive. Oh and by the way I start work at 5:30 AM. Lazy

The Post Office is lazy and horrible! The female mail carrier would rather text than deliver our mail to the Trails End Lake area!Unfortunately, USPS ran into an issue when attempting your delivery. They will try again.You can contact USPS for more information. When you call you get a recording and can't get a human on the phone.Lazy Federal Employee's!
