Long awaited review from me. I wanted to give a special shout out to the helpdesk staff, especially Eric . The staff is always smiling and making us feel welcomed at the reception. I have received a lot of help over time for packages and any additional quires. Thank you so much, everyone, for making our days better and the special birthday wishes.

I had a great stay at Avalon during my move to Seattle from India. The place is beautiful, accessible and well maintained. I would recommend the place and give it a 5 star! Shoutout to Eric for all the support during the move!!

PS: stay away from 449 the ceilings are super thin. You will loose your sleep here.
We have been staying here for 4 years now. We loved this community so far hence even though they increased rent crazily for 3 years we still continued staying here. Now we are regretting our decision. Recently they furnished upstairs unit with wooden floors. The new tenants when they walk out unit literally shakes off. It is like earthquake. The noise is too loud to ignore. The tenants keep walking throughout the night God knows what they do. We are not able to sleep because of walking sound. We have reached the management. The management initially asked neighbor if they are loud and ofc they said no. The office closed the case. We again opened the case with audio proof, we had called patrol police twice in night. The office is still not doing anything except than telling us to adjust with noise with white noise machine. I have asked them for roof inspection but they keep asking me to ignore the noise. How can I ignore the noise? Why don't you come and experience yourself? This is purely management fault that they didn't put padding between wooden floors. Despite that they take hefty rent and tell tenants to keep suffering. We have asked them to come and see the noise but they don't want to come. We have asked them to shift us to another unit but they don't want to do that. All they want is take HUGE money for old house and let tenants suffer alone. Due to bad sleep I am having medical issues. Who is responsible for health impact due to your stupid renovation? I will never recommend this community anymore. Just stay away. There are better homes with less rent nearby.
UPDATE : I live at Avalon Maydeanbauer and not in San Diego. Despite multiple complaints the leasing office hasn't done anything regarding upstairs neighbor. The neighbors are rude not responding to management and not co-operative. They are not even opening door when we walk to them to explain the issue. How immature and insensitive people they are! They walk around with their heavy footsteps during night at 2 AM, 4 AM anytime. The person plays loud music with vibrations until 4 AM. Still the management is not taking any action. Management is the worst. All they do is increase the rent for most outdated infrastructure.

I had a leaky faucet service request that was handled by Brayden. It was prompt and he even went above the request and fixed an issue with the sink stopper that was not on the ticket. I was very surprised and pleased that he took “The Message to Garcia” and did more than the minimum. Kudos to Brayden

I lived at Avalon Meydenbauer two and a half years, with one year being in a studio and the rest in a 3b2b. I had a great experience here and would recommend to anyone who wants to stay in downtown Bellevue! The maintenance is amazing, always here the same or next day. The leasing agents are all awesome and kind, especially Iva! The location can't be beat, especially with the Safeway downstairs.
I only have a few minor complaints that are of note. First, there are pretty much zero amenities besides the gym. Second, some of the unrenovated units have old appliances. Third, they installed Latch electronic locks recently which are a huge hassle and there was literally nothing wrong with the old physical key + fob. Besides that, everything else was awesome and I highly recommend renting here!

I recently had the pleasure of having my dryer replaced by Gilberto Covarrubias Ojeda and Brayden La from the Avalon Meydenbauer maintenance team, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the service provided.
From the moment they arrived, Gilberto and Brayden were professional and thorough. They promptly replaced my old dryer with a brand new one and ensured everything was set up perfectly. What impressed me the most was their attention to detail in setting the vent pipe correctly, ensuring everything was up to standard.
Additionally, they respected the preferred timing I provided in the maintenance request created using the Resident app, which made the whole process incredibly convenient.
Their expertise and dedication to their work were evident throughout the process. Thanks to their efforts, my dryer is now functioning perfectly. I highly recommend Gilberto, Brayden, and the entire Avalon Meydenbauer maintenance team for their exceptional service!

Recently moved into the building and so far the staff has been very helpful. We submitted a couple small maintenance requests after moving in and they were addressed in less than an hour.

The staff will BREAK INTO your room without telling you in advance, so if that's how you want to be treated when you are naked then stay in this apartment

Our room has got bed bug and after first ineffective action, there was no more response from the apartment team, even though we email their manager daily these days.

Moved into a one bathroom apartment less than 6 months ago. And the toilet started clogging... and so begins our journey.
We were initially blamed for using too much toilet paper (not true), then our toddler was blamed for throwing something and flushing (also not true after all pipes were checked). We had no option but to raise 4 tickets about it along with furious flushing and praying hard to all the poop Lords for a solution.
After thorough examinatiom similar to a rectal exam, the pot was deemed old and non- functional. We did manage to muster a fake gasp of surprise at that piece of information.
Raised a ticket about all the issues in the apartment but it was closed because I used a profanity word which is used to describe the solid waste that wasnt flushing in the first place! Sorry Beth Caroll for offending you- I'll go forward referring it as human fecal excretion.
In summary- this apartment has appliances that are (insert word for human fecal excretion). Keep breaking down.
Shoutout to the maintenance team- they are truly amazing!
The rest including Beth... not so much!
