It’s hard to believe that there are such uncaring pet hospitals now. I made an appointment to vaccinate my dog last week, but today I got a call from them saying that my dog needs to be sedated in advance, but they don’t know the dosage. , they asked me to go back to the store I went to before to ask about the dosage. I asked if I could take it to the hospital for them to confirm the dosage, but they rejected me. And asked me to go to a private pet hospital. I'm really angry, this is a very unloving place.

My girlfriend and I bring our cat D.C. here. I’ve never faced any issues scheduling appointments, and all of the staff, from the receptionist to the Vet, get excited when they see DC. From the most personalized exams I’ve experienced, to a kitty treat at the end of the visit, D.C. always has his tail pointed to the sky when he’s in with the Vet. Thank you to the staff at Banfield, the team that takes care of my kitty D.C., and the Vet.

This place has been getting worse and worse, I have trying the make a comprehensive exam for my cats in the past an year and half, somehow my appointment is always got canceled at the very last second. I was really understanding at the beginning, the whole word is going through the shortage for staff issues. But now is getting ridicules, I have been paying my memberships for the past an year and half and unable to use any of the benefits that I paid for.Just a friendly reminder for who want to join their membership, don’t waste your money here. It’s better to get a pet insurance and connect with your local professional pet hospital who actually care about pet.Follow up after called customer service to cancel my plan, I have canceled my plan with no penalty. But I had to argue with the guy and tell him how frustrating I am. They didn’t even offer any refund at all. So disappointed.

Maybe Brandon could sound a little less overwhelmed and like he cares about customers. Just a thought. I am seriously considering just canceling my plan and pay a private vet more so I get the respect I deserve. Please hire better people!

PLEASE consider going to another Banfield. We took our dog in for her comprehensive exam three weeks ago, with a follow up two weeks ago. Everything came back healthy aside from needing probiotics.Last night, she started limping, so we took her to a different Banfield location. They found that she had a double severe ear infection, a potential colon infection / pancreatitis, an irregular blood panel and more. They were shocked to find out this wasn't detected already, because they appeared to be long-term persisting issues. We got a 'clean bill of health' from the Bellevue staff and were assured she was in great condition. If we hadn't taken her in for the limp, her infections "could have resulted in an emergency visit and worst case, death." Now $600 later in bills, this could have been avoided by treating it weeks ago.We love our Banfield membership, but we will NEVER go to this Banfield again.

I'm going to start this by saying that I very rarely post negative reviews for companies. I prefer to provide recognition for exceptional service. I however, and so disappointed in this Banfield (after numerous experiences) that I need to let people know. We took our previous dog to the Bothell location and loved them so much that we of course chose them for our new puppy. We live in Bellevue, so started taking our pup to the downtown location. They very rarely have availabilities when your fur baby is sick and needs to be seen sooner rather than later, and seem to be very forgetful. Every time I check in they ask if I want to add a nail grind. Three times they asked, three times I said yes, three times they brought her back out without actually doing the nail grind. Last Friday I brought my puppy in for a urine sample. Because she didn't need to go, they sent me home with a kit to get one on my own and bring it back for testing. As soon as we got home she peed and I was able to get a sample and bring it right back to them for testing (same day). They took her sample and told me that they would call me the next day with info. Next day, no call, day after that no call... I called on the third day to check in and found out that they forgot to test her urine. It was left in the fridge and too old to send for testing. I was told I would need to bring her back in to get another sample... At this point I'm pretty much done. Kind of a bummer because we are contractually obligated for a year with the Banfield wellness plan. Anyone looking to get their new fur babies a veterinarian, please look somewhere else. Your little love balls will not be cared for here.

After three weeks and about 5 emails now, still morning. Complained to the BBB sent. This business is truly atrocious.

Update: I called two days after the Banfield employees unprofessionally no-showed my appointment (note, they did not have the decency to call me the day after). Josh, who has had multiple bad Google reviews, picked up and informed me that he tried to call me multiple times the day of the cancellation. But he blamed not being able to reach me because he could not *67 the call... Okay Josh, so why not email me? My appointment was at 3pm on a Sunday and you could have reached me via email and I do not, for one second, believe you tried to call me. The professionalism here, or lack thereof, has lost my business forever. Good riddance Banfield Pet Hospital of Bellevue.I had a scheduled appointment at 3pm, showed up on time, and waited for 15 minutes. I asked the PetSmart employees where the Banfield employees were, and they told me they did NOT show up for work. How unprofessional! Seriously, did not even think to call the people that had scheduled an appointment?

Me and my fiancée brought her dog into the Bellevue Banfield location because our regular vet couldnbt see us for another week and he had already been sick for several days. Honestly we were pretty hesitant to go there because of the reviews on here and google but all the other locations had no room and we really needed our boy seen. It ended up going 100x better than expected.. Sarah the receptionist I spoke on the phone with was so kind, she even called us to let us know that an earlier appointment opened up and made us feel like she really cared about his well-being and getting us seen fast. Dr. Thompson was very thorough and made sure we understood everything before we left, his notes in the app are so detailed. The nice technician, we can't remember their name!, that brought our pup to us talked to us about the medicine we have to give him and explained how to give it... then brought him out for us. Overall, we had a really good experience for having a sick dog and the whole process only took about an hour and half.

I had a horrible experience with my new puppy. I found Banfield because if recommendations and their wellness plans. The Bellevue location is the one I decided to go for since it's close to Mercer Island. I checked in at the appropriate time however they 1.) did not explain the wellness plan to me as promised on the website. 2.) I asked what my puppies first visit would entail and they could not give me a straight answer. They vaguely said the bet will check him out and talk with me. Ok!! 3.) my son sent pics of his medical file from the breeders and the clerk kept trying to talk to me while I was busy sending the email. The clerk was anxious and shaking because of nerves. 4.) when I handed my puppy over he was taken back to see the vet but I had no idea what was going on and that made me feel uncomfortable. My puppy was very frightened. 5.) I had to then ask if I should wait around the front desk and how long it would take! No one told me this information. The reply was to go shopping without any idea of the timeframe. 6.) I checked back about 20 min later and they told me to come back in 15 min. I complained that no one told me timeframes or what was going on with the vet! 7.) I came back 15 minutes later and the other clerk decided to tell me off by saying the vet was looking for me. I asked if he tried to call me. No he was looking around for you at the front desk, she said. I told her no one told me I was allowed to wait here! So I sat down. 8.) The vet I'm assuming although he didn't introduce himself came out and finally I was told this was just a wellness check and that my puppy was healthy. And I explained my complaint about the service so far. Then I asked about his heart worm medication and as per the breeder that he can't have heart guard. He said he would check it out and if I took him back in make sure he got the appropriate heart worm medication for him. And advised that he needs his shots in a few weeks. Ok! 9.) I told the vet I will not be using the wellness or banfield again. As I felt very uncomfortable and even his explanation left a lot to be desired. No explanation by him how they kept my puppy safe and helped his nerves back there. Or an explanation of the wellness package and what fits my puppies needs. 10.) I went to a new clerk to pay for the exam and she asked if I wanted flea tick and HEARTWORM medication despite not even talking to the vet about his needs. She was offering the standard. I again made a complaint that this was unprofessional as the vet didn't say he was getting any of that today ( I didn't even know you could give a puppy so young that medicine yet and that wasn't explained to me either). Then told her my whole story and how I will not be back. She told me the exam was free and that was that. I'm a new puppy owner and he is a very expensive breed I paid a fortune for plus his cuteness has made us all fall in love with him. I did not feel reassured at any point that this place was there to care for my pooch and make sure he was taken care of properly. Horrible place and horrible customer service. My puppy who is extremely sociable did not feel safe and neither do I. We will not be back.

This is the worst customer service I ever experience .The two front desk Josh and Alex lied and treated customers very poorly ,I demand here the business owner contact me to get this addressed. On 17 Dec 11:15am ,I dropped the dog for my friend and gave my phone number to the front desk , Josh. I asked him to call me when the dog ready to pick up. About 1pm ,Vet Doctor, Greg Thompson called me that he need permission to do some kind test for $158 , I gave him the dog owner phone number to get permission (later I confirmed with owner ,He did give permission to the Doctor do the test).I was wondering why no one call me to pick up dog? so I called in and talked with one lady(Alex), she told me that the dog were still in treatment but I need pick up before 5pm , I told her my wife will be there soon. When my wife arrived 4:45pm . My wife said she was very nice asked Alex ,any medication for the dog 's wound and rushed skin. Alex refused the doctor didn't see your dog, you have to reschedule to bring back again in order to get the medication. and asked my wife to pay today's doctor visit fee $58. My wife said the dog owner told her, the dog has a wellness plan and it will cover for the cost, wife said please let me contact the dog owner first. at the same time , Josh got vey hostile and rude and said :"it is only give two minutes, after two minutes, I will send it the bill to collection". my wife texted and called the dog owner couple minutes late.wife my wife back to the front desk , Josh said the bill already sent to collection and asked her to leave .On DEC 18 9am I called Josh asked him why dog did not get treatment and charge $58,He started lying and accused no one pick up dog whole afternoon ,I pointed out that nobody called me to pick up dog until I called in , Alex told me the dog was still in treatment at 430pm ,he get very agitated by this fact and told me the dog can't come in here Banfield anymore.I called back talked with Alex, try to complain this to owner, Alex told me Josh is the owner ,I like to find out is this true? and she started to lie said she asked me to pick up dog 430pm.I don't get why they both like to lie to customer even so small stuff ,if they keep doing business this way, everyone should avoid them as far as your can.Again I like to have conversation with the real owner whoever he is.
