Usually easy to get an appointment for my cat. Rooms are clean, Vets are nice. The techs also do a good job.

First of all, Avoid ANY Banfield at ALL Cost, This is a Mars corp with main goal to make money. Don't be fooled buying their wellness scam plan. Never EVER follow their disgusting recommendations for over vaccinations and poison flea treatment, otherwise don't whine if you pet die, get sick, and will have some serious health issue like liver/kidney failure/allergies/seizures down the road.I recently adopted a dog from a family, who used to be a client of this hospital. When i checked my dog medical records, I became furious. The poor dog was so badly over vaccinated, given serious multiply shots, including non core ones, just in a period of 2 months, plus poison flea med, that now I have to detox my dog liver to avoid future complications. This clinic also did a teeth cleaning under anesthesia, and it was done so horribly, leaving all baby teeth, etc. According to a vet records, doctor name is Tatyana. So called specialists ruin our pets health and don't deserve to be in profession. It is called legalized malpractice. Shame on corrupt Banfield and their vile doctors for using our pets as tools to make money.

Don’t waste your money and time. I’ve gone multiple times only to be disappointed and at times infuriated by front desk staff and medical care staff. I have a care plan that I pay a hefty amount for monthly and it is not worth it. Every time I still have to pay more money out of pocket. They lack communication skills, time management, and custom service. I called their billing department, also terrible. My poor cat has had to be out on medications and held there all day only for them to tell me they could not do much. This has happened multiple times. After the 3rd or so time they tell me he needs anesthesia but they should have known that after the 1st time and made me waste money and time on more medications instead. This is not the only issue I’ve had with them but just and example. I pay a monthly fee and expect professional service. Most of the time I just get told what “might” be wrong which I can easily find the same or a better answer on the internet.

This vet location is at the back of a Pet Smart and looks snazzy! The vet team(Doctors, Nurses and Technicians) are great! I'm certain their care is good. However, the front of house staff are slow, difficult to contact via phone and unresponsive. Be sure to add 40 minutes - 1 hour to the time you think it will take any activity involving them to take. The only portal for this location lists "no appointments" for 60+ days into the future, but if you're able to actually ring the front desk you'll see that yes they do have appointments available it just seems like they ignore the online system. If this is the case please remove that from the website for this location.I dropped my dog off for a 9am drop off visit and the care they received was great. I gave them the paperwork I had on my dog from the rescue I picked them up from, I did assume they'd return this but I forgot to ask for it back.I desperately needed this original paperwork for some dog day care, dog training, dog boarding etc. requirements so thought I'd pop in to get the paperwork back.I did this well before the time I needed to START journeying to my dog training location. As I assumed this would just be a quick pickup of some paperwork I thought it would be quick enough. I hate being late to anything. Upon arriving the front desk was empty, there was no bell or anything. The opening hours on their desk showed that they should be open. After waiting patiently for awhile I found a PetSmart rep and asked, they informed me that the desk should be open and that they have a camera. I waved at the camera to no avail. I even located something that looked like a doorbell behind the desk and decided to just push it anyway. After being stuck there for roughly 25 mins, a banfield rep did come out and try to locate my records. They could not find them and mentioned that they might be shredded, which is concerning. I gave them a paperclipped collection of basically the entire history of my dog and I need some of that data back. The rep was able to print the vaccination records for me, but I do still need the other paperwork. The delay here made me very late for the next item on my calendar. Yes I should have left more time between my appointments, but I think 25 minutes of no one being a desk that is apparently open is quite ridiculous. If locating the paperwork took 25 minutes that's fine, but this was 25 minutes until my existence at the location was acknowledged.I don't blame the staff themselves as it's probably a policy, operational issue that needs resolving but this combined with their website continually reporting false information on appointments seems to suggest this location does not actually want your business.I'll be staying as a customer for awhile longer before deciding to move. There are other locations that are most likely less corporate hellscapey than this.

I brought my cat in and they sent me home with at home tests and knowledge so I could get her healthy again. Super friendly staff. I was able to get in the same day I called and was served promptly after arriving.

We've seen Dr. Johnston, Dr. Galvins, and some of the other doctors and they've all been wonderful with Charlie. Really appreciate that they will let you sit in on appointments with your pup instead of only doing drop off now.

Always a very nice and professional attitude. Truly appreciate the time and emotional investment these guys always offer when it comes to my dog.

Five stars only for Dr. Galvin- who is probably the sweetest most caring vet I have seen in many years. When my 17 year old emotional support cat was diagnosed with lung cancer, she got down on her knees in front of me and provided nothing but kindness and comfort in the process. She was there to answer any follow up questions when I called and never once made me feel silly for what I had to ask- she was reassuring and informative and didn’t push any services on us. I’m fact, she agreed services such as chemo were not the best path for a cat of her age at the stage she was at.Many months later a new kitten wandered into our lives in a kind of rough state and we took him to the Banefield in Tukwila only to have a very negative experience where issues we discussed were not checked and we had to take the kitten back in twice when the issues progressed- seemingly annoyed that we had questions/concerns. The second time we took her to Dr Galvin… who surely enough took the time to listen to our concerns and address them and be there for a follow up call.Veterinarians are one of those fields where you can only hope that your vet is passionate and genuinely care about what they are doing and Dr. Galvin is just that!

If I could give them a Zero I would. They are so horrible!! Whats strange is that in the past they were good, nice, caring, helpful. Now, the front desk talks for the nurse, doesn't let the nurse talk with the dog parent. Or, the nurse tells them to do that? I dk, but I really wanted to talk with the nurse, because my pet got surgery there and they were complaining a lot after surgery. I called and the front desk lady said, "the nurse wont talk with you" "she wont call you back". I was like, can you still please leave her the message, she instead of saying sure, i will leave her the message. She said the nurse wont call me at all. Now my dogs ran out of pain medication, and they are still complaining but even more! These people are horrible, Bandfield or Petsmart should investigate them for neglect.

One of the worst places you can take your pets for care. They found my dog had a slight heart murmur and continued to ignore it for years. She now has basically the worst condition heart murmur and is on 4 meds costing us $200/month for the rest of her life. We. pay an arm and a leg for care here to...Also, getting meds filled etc is literally the most difficult task for these people. What happened to this place? Went terribly downhill. I recommend you go somewhere more professional.

You close at 6–not 5:30, not 5:45, 6 PM. Trying to get in contact with the front desk is an absolute nightmare. Called PetSmart themselves and they also didn’t care when they mentioned “oh, looks like no one’s there.” Didn’t offer any alternatives. Just hung up shortly after.

Our dog Max just died after a tough battle with renal failure, pancreatitis, and liver problems. I wanted to cancel his pet insurance for obvious reasons. To my dismay, they would not cancel his policy and I am to continue paying $56 a month for a wellness plan for a dog who has passed away. We have been customers for as long as we have had Max, which was over 7 years. The Wellness Plan does NOT cover medications, labs, and other diagnostic treatments. It is a scam. They do not care about your pet or you. I feel cheated and I feel like a fool. I want to warn all pet owners about this place.

Great place, IF you can actually get in. Service and everything great when you can actually get pet in. I've had issues with lack of appointment availability. Then canceling appointments due to staff no shows or illness. Just had a did that had to have surgery and it was a very nice experience.

My cat was transferred from ER for hospitalization care. I called banfield the day before to confirm the drop off. And when I brought my cat over, they did not know why he was there, despite him already having an IV needle still in from the ER. Documents for treatments were given to them at the same time, meds were supposed to be taken at 8am and 10am. Turned out when I called them back to check up at 10:21am, according to what they told me, they did not receive any records and the only med that was given was at around 10:30am. With this minimum amount of care and their miscommunication between front desk and back staff, I decided to pick him up at noon. They ended up charging me the same amount of money for the bill or else they wouldn’t release my cat. Spend your money somewhere else.

They got the best service, they also know what they are doing. I took my dog there to fix a surgery that was done in a different place in auburn, but they didnt go good job and banfield made it right.
