We sent in a prescription for our newborn, and got a text immediately saying that Bartells didn't have it in stock but an order was placed. Wanting to know how long of a wait we were looking at, I called the pharmacy for an update. After an interminable wait, someone picks up, and looks up my order. She brusquely then tells me that they didn't get the medicine in stock, that they won't know when they'll get it in, and that I should call other pharmacies in the area to see if they have it in stock, and then to call Bartells back for a transfer. Why couldn't Bartells place the order like the first text said it would? Why couldn't Bartells look up other pharmacies in their network for stock of the medicine? Surely, one of their many stores must carry it? There was zero effort to try to help in procuring this medicine from Bartells. I would think that ordering medicine that they don't have in stock would be the bare minimum of a functioning pharmacy, and yet this branch can't even do that much.

Bartells has been around this area for long long time . Since Rite Aids are closing the only other option is Walgreens , and they can’t handle their customers in the pharmacy, never answer the phone or have the pills , takes couple days to order them also. I changed to Bartels and am happy as they stay open late and on weekends too.

Worst pharmacy ever!! When they got my prescription from my doctor, they called me and said my insurance doesn’t cover any of those and I can simply buy them OTC. 2 days later they call me telling my prescription is ready for pickup and it’s only $2. I spent a huge amount picking them up otc. Worst place ever!!!!

I really wanted to leave a good review, but this company is a clown show. I was happy to be able to order my prescription refill online. They let you select a ready time as long as it's three hours away. I stopped in seven hours later while out on an errand. Is it ready? No, it is not. I was told it's "ready to be filled if I want to wait " no, I don't want to wait. That's why I ordered it seven hours ago. Be careful with their website... the pharmacy hours are wrong for their own location (hours on Google are correct). Also, if you need to change the phone or email on your account, good luck... they require you to go through their "contact" process (phone or chat) to change something that they only know because you typed it in at registration time. Also, there are no options or hints at whether they will in fact use any of that contact information to let me know if they ever feel bothered to actually fill my prescription. Really sad.

Get a call saying 2 prescriptions were automatically refilled and available for pickup. I drive in and they tell me one rx has 6 refills remaining but they’re not authorized to fill it, and the other didn’t even show in their system as available to refill. So… definitely NOT available for pickup.I can’t even be mad, this is par for the course for Bartell these days. Has completely gone down the tubes since Rite Aid bought them.

Even 1 star is High! This pharmacy deserves a negative value.1. First time I decided to get my medication delivered and I paid online(same store), it said 2-5 days, but it never came. I then downloaded the app and again ordered a Refill and selected Pickup! When i went there, they said they can’t see any previous refill and again I would have to pay for the later refill request! Wow!2. I have been taking here medications since 1 year and every time they are NEVER on time! They always make you wait(even though you choose pickup time online) for 30 min, 1 hour and today I waited for 1 hour 40 min. I chose pickup time online at 7 PM. When i went on time, they said to come after an hour and I did so. Waited in long line and then thought I will have my medication by now after 1 hour! It was still NOT ready and then suddenly they got a call and the person starts to prepare the phone call’s medication and gives me excuse that Machine was filling some other medication and now my medication is being prepared! I waited for another half an hour without saying a word! Then I asked again now with slightest softest comment that I am waiting since long time. They said there is someone else who is waiting longer than me(WHY It ever came to that), Then almost 5 min later, the person brought my medication and put it on table so hardly(like a ‘bang’), it was weird for me and they went away and then few seconds later came back and started payment. Then again went away for that phone call order , again I waited for few more min for them to end the payment! It was around 8:40 PM it was completed and I left.Paid 2 times for single medication!Worst experience with a pharmacy ever!I have decided I am going to chose another pharmacy from next time!

I can’t believe they just won’t fill a medication that was received like a day back. They contemplate filling it only after you come here. They take frequent breaks. Have to wait for hours to get a simple meditation filled.

Terrible pharmacy service. There are a few there who are helpful which makes it unfortunate for the bad review but the overall chaotic and disorganization leads to lost prescriptions, long wait times, missing meds, and long round about arguments between you, them and the doctors office. Been waiting 8+ days for one prescription.

Inside and out, this is a standard issue Bartell Drugs through-and-through. Grandiose compared to the convenience stores surrounding, its only real rival is the Wal-Mart a little over a mile away. Its strengths are in its distinct departments, stock, cleanliness, and access to restrooms. Prices range from average to slightly on the high side of average. Its weakness, unfortunately, lay in the diversity mandates companies these days seem to prioritize. Diversity in itself is a noble notion. The way that this particular location seems to interpret that is to hire immigrants whose grasp of the English language presents a communication barrier. They are kind enough, but on more than one occasion, what should have been very simple and common transactions confused the staff; unnecessarily involving management. This leads to a less than stellar customer experience.I'm not saying don't shop here. Just maybe don't shop here if you are in a hurry.????

We choose to drive to a further pharmacy now just because this particular Bartell Drugs pharmacy IS ALWAYS A DISAPPOINTMENT! They never fill prescription in a timely manner, you’ll be lucky, if they wouldn’t put your call straight on hold, when you try calling them. And no, I’m not going to go out of my way to reach their corporate office via twitter and so on, whoever is replying to all the complains below, begging to give them a chance and offering to contact their office, could just as easily convey this info to their bosses themselves. I already wasted countless amount of hours and nerves by being their customer for 10+ years, and this place never improves, it only rolls downhill. So, I’m not going to give you another minute of my time online or offline. This is just a friendly advice to anyone, who is considering using this pharmacy in Crossroads, GO ANYWHERE ELSE, unless you enjoy waiting for days for prescriptions that usually take minutes to be filled.

They filled my prescription on time just before heading for lunch. The storefront associate, Logan, was new but still helpful and helped me identify a coupon I could use. Happy so far!

Prior to the buy out from CVS Bartell Drugs filled some prescriptions my mail order pharmacy couldn't and they filled "urgent" ones that were needed short term or until they could move to mail order (Amazon Pillpack). The customer service was great, if you let them know you needed it that day it was usually ready in a 1/2 hour or close to it and you could reach someone on the phone without being put on hold right away. (On hold long enough to memorize their music...) Now, even ER prescriptions for drugs that are needed now (or at least within a reasonable time like 2 hours) don't get filled promptly without calling. By promptly I've called the following morning when it was sent at say 3PM the day before and they hadn't started yet. Due to my needs I've got a complex mix of meds and central line management stuff and I'm floored that in some cases drugs can be shipped faster than Bartell's now gets them filled. On the positive side, one of their great tech's that's been there for years is still with them despite the turnover and it's still a good store but I shouldn't have to make 2-5 calls on one prescription. In this case I've made a total of nine calls now to the sending pharmacy that is trying to reach Bartell's just to transfer a prescription and that's nuts. (Last call to both was 8:55 PM and they confirmed they'd rushed the transfer. I called Bartell's two hours before that the last time an even gave them the sending pharmacy's transfer department direct number to fix the issue to which the reply was "well, I guess I could try to call". THis is a bridge supply of a drug that had to be emergency ordered as the new drug is delayed from the IV pharmacy due to shipping issues so I have to continue a stop gap med that is readily available. What sucks is if this isn't done I have to go back to an ED to get a cary overdose this morning. It's inexcusable that the customer service has gone so far down the roof. If CVS wanted to save money perhaps gutting the pharmacy staff and closing for lunch (when many of us might like to pick up our stuff) isn't going to help as I've moved every single prescription I can to Amazon and the speciality infusion pharmacy so I can stop dealing with this. Kind of sad for the business as I still locally filled drugs worth over $1,500 a month.

I'm reluctant to write this negative review, because most of the pharmacists and pharmacy techs here are both skilled at what they do and wonderful human beings. I've had amazing service from Dr. Duc, Jason, the Other Jason, and more... Unfortunately, one shared with me that they aren't given the staffing money they need from "corporate"- and this creates horrendous waits in line and lack of customer care. After a situation in which my Family Doctor had to fax them the same prescription 4 times, I finally threw in the towel and switched pharmacies... unfortunately, the new one was just as bad !!

This pharmacy is one of the worst I have ever been to! They never return your call, they seem to be very disorganized and have employees who don't know their jobs. I used to go to Bartells in Lynnwood and they were so great, but moved to Bellevue and used this store and I am so sadly disappointed. I will be looking for a new pharmacy.

In-stock pharmacy scripts are delayed 36+ hours! There is no movement on your order unless you're physically present. The pharmacy staff is great, but Rite Aid (which acquired Bartell) does not provide the people needed to match the demand of our high density population. Also, shelves are often empty for OTC items. It must be incredibly difficult for staff morale. George and June Bartell, and Jean Bartell should be embarrassed for having their family name on this business.
