They take really good care of my dog and don’t immediately jump to the most expensive solution.

Thank you to the fine doctors and staff of Bellevue Animal Hospital who facilitated the USDA International Health Certificate for our doxies. Special thanks to Harley Hodge for patiently walking us through the USDA process. The dogs are happy and so are we!

It cost me 1200+ to get a international health certificate for my cat here. Look for other places if you canLooks like I can't reply to the owners response, so I'm adding it here:"Multiple exams for vaccination and tests": a rabies antibody exam which cost 400 out of the 1200, and a chat with a vet about my cat's general health (and my cat has no problem anyway because we are always on schedule for regular health check). My cat is also on time off all vaccinations, so no extra was needed."3 Months of coordination": several emails asking if I have all the documents, and booking of two appointments"Working with USDA:" uploading these documents online, and asked for updates once.I personally don't think these should cost 1200, but because the final document has to be done within 2 weeks of flight, I feel time pressure to change. And I did thank the vet and the staffs, they are always friendly and tentative (the two extra stars are for them). The person I don't like is the coordinator I have to talk to through this process (I guess is also the one replying to my review). She omitted the final price, is not very responsive, and is trying to blame me for not asking for the final price. 0 stars for her, and the business that hires a manager like that and charges crazy price

I had been a loyal customer of Bellevue Vet for over 20+ years but I cannot recommend them anymore. I have had 2 major events that were not handled appropriately and now I cannot say I trust the staff or Dr. Bruce.I had an appointment last week for my dog for a nail trim, where I overheard “there is blood and puss” and when I inquired w/the technician said she ruptured an (obvious) growth on her upper paw when she was clipping her nails. When I asked her to bandage it she stated that it was NOT a medical appointment. When I called to express my concern, I was given false information by who ever answered the phone. She also brought my dog to me and was so close to my face that my dog scratched my face over my eye, and the technician (that I asked to step back) and Dr Bruce said I did not get scratched. I must say, I have not ever sued anyone for damages- but that they both said I wasn’t scratched when I CLEARLY was, made me upset. After all, I’m the one who sees my face every day.But what is more upsetting is that today I had to come back in again for my dogs care, and requested a response from Dr. Bruce, and when he came in he was angry and hostile and that scared me. He said that my complaint was unfounded and that I was “clearly over emotional”, and yelling at him . I did get emotional when he entered the room and was angry, aggressive and saying that my complaints were unfounded but when he accused me of yelling at him (didn’t happen) I reminded him that my voice was of the same register and he clearly could hear I was never yelling. And then apologized to me, saying he was so sorry but he was so sick of addressing complaints like mine. Dr Bruce, that’s your job. If your tired then retire but you will not abuse me and try to demonize my request for a professional response. Very disappointed and I have now found another vet.

My cat died having care here. I don’t think people here even care about cat lives. At least not the front desk people. I called in and asked if it’s an emergency because I’m a new parent. They misled me saying it’s not an emergency so I missed the perfect opportunity to get my cat in earlier. He died suddenly in an ER hospital. So just be aware of this hospital.I recommend Loyal Family Hospital, they did way more comprehensive tests and vaccines for our new kitty. The doctors and nurses here are not bad but I can’t trust them anymore.

Since adopting our rescue dog, we have had our fair share of vet visits and a couple accidental injuries. They are the ONLY vet that I have called and got through without the hassle of an automated call or being on hold for 10 minutes. The front desk ladies are always kind and Dr. Lewis was so professional as well as knowledgeable during my dog’s checkup. I will always return here

Please don't put your beloved fur balls in these people's clutches. We were actively looking for another vet when our dog got drastically sick last month. Our impression just got worse in the three interactions we had left with them.We moved to Seattle last year and chose this vet for our 14 year old pooch because the vet is supposed to be owned by a Ohio State couple. In the year and a half we went there not once did we see either of them.

The utmost horrible despicable vet hospital ever!!!!!!!! I have no words to explain these horrible people and their practice!!!30 years ago I took my cat here, and they put him down. Ater that experience my family said we would never ever bring a pet of ours back here. Fast forward 30 years and my cat was having serious troubles where she was unable to walk. It was a Sunday so my usual vet was closed, so I needed to go somewhere for emergency care. I did not want to go to Aerowood as I’d heard horror stories. So, I thought what the hell, try Bellevue Animal Hospital, has to be better than 30 years ago. WRONG!I arrived and they refused to let me come in with my suffering cat, instead offering curbside pickup of the pet. Curbside pickup is fine if you are going to....ummmm.....Burger King or Taco Bell, NOT FOR having your pet examined. Would you be ok with dropping off your toddler with a stranger at the curbside of the clinic? SO, if it is not something you’d do for humans, why would you do that for pets???I know they will rebut by saying , “but we are just trying to stay safe”...... Bullsh*t!! Pets are family and need their human parents there for them, not letting the human parents accompany them in is utterly cruel. This policy only exemplifies their disregard for animals. They took my cat in examined her, came back, told me nothing I did not know already, gave me some meds that nearly killed the poor kitty and charged me a horrendous amount. Unfortunately, in the end I had to put my cat down (not here though).Ten days after I put my cat down I received a card from them “welcoming” my cat to Bellevue Animal Hospital. Talk about rubbing salt in the wound!!!!!!! Made me so upset, enraged and sad.Luckily, these folks will be gone soon as the property will be the victim of Bellevue’s unending gentrification. Stay away from this place! IIt was bad 30 years ago and has not changed a bit. In fact, strike that, it was bad 30 years before then (I guess that’d be the 1950s/60s) when my mom and grandparents boarded their standard poodle and someone kicked him, thus killing him.....I guess i am the the third generation of my family to have a problem with this place....

If I could give 0 stars, I would. One of my pup's anal glands looked swollen (later found out it was impacted) and was rapidly progressing into a serious situation. I saw this hospital advertises it as a walk in clinic on Sunday's. I arrived before they even opened to make sure I was first in line, sat in my car and called the number to let them know. There was not a single person waiting there to be seen. The person who answered the phone said they couldn't take my pup in because they only had one person staffed then she went on to say "actually, we only do appointments on Sunday." I asked her if she could refer me to another clinic in the area and she said no. Absolutely no compassion or help. Everywhere else I contacted was already at capacity. I wasn't able to take him elsewhere until the end of the day. I counted on the animal hospital being a walk in like they advertise. By the time my pup could be seen by someone that night, the infection had spread and he ended up dying during anesthesia.

I had to get my dogs USDA Health Certificate in order for us to move out of the country and I am so glad I found Bellevue Animal Hospital. Harley was amazing on communicating with me on what I needed in order to make everything official. It can be a nerve wrecking experience moving your pet overseas but she explained to me everything I needed and then she did the rest. A person may think it's pricey but it's worth everything to make sure you have all your travel documents correct so you don't have any issues.

Only had positive experiences so far. Got a new puppy and brought him here for his first vet visits. He was at first scared coming here, but seems to enjoy visiting now; He really loves the staff here and so do I.
