I did Japanese straightening with Ben in preparation for an event. He did a very good job and the procedure was thorough. He even lent me a parking permit so I could park for longer than 2hrs (procedure takes a long time). Would highly recommend his service.

Absolutely fantastic and best Japanese Thermal Straightening process I have ever had. Ben knows what he is doing - I have gone to very high end salons and they do not even come close to the knowledge and service Ben provides. I have incredibly curly hair and all other salons processes only last 6-9 months, at Ben's it has lasted over a year, it may take a little more work to get straight but the fact I can get straight is impressive!!

The nail lady was very nice. The tiny, closet sized salon she shares with her husband who does hair was very cluttered & messy. The lady seemed as if she was new at doing nails. It took forever & the sides of my nails got missed. The light that dries nails almost burnt my hand. Again, the lady was very nice but it was an odd experience. a simple shellac color change was $46 while I usually pay $20 or less.

Ben is great. My hair has always been tough to cut and it took me ten years to find a good cut. So now as long as I still have my hair,I'll go here.

Not sure about other services but after getting a perm with Ben, I had to cut my hair as it was damaged beyond repair. I've been doing perm for years and I also swim so I understand that there will be damaged but never to the extend that was done by Ben. It was quite obvious to me that he does not know much about hair as he insisted that I should leave conditioner on my hair and not rinse it off. Stay away!

I have missed Miyoko's artistic abilities for the last 5 years since I moved away! I went to visit and was so excited to make an appointment with her! I am a hair stylist and I love to have my nails look unique. Because I can paint it myself and if I'm paying for it, I want something I cannot do. When you walk in you will NEVER hear the words " pick a color" because, quite frankly I cannot ever choose just one. She will thoughtfully ask you " What colors (plural) do you like" and then she does her magic! I just love her work, and have not found anyone as creative and thoughtful, not to mention, has a beautiful heart for people, as Miyoko. I miss her and treasure this place and am glad Bellevue hasn't rebuilt this block!

Finally found the place to deal with my messy curly hair at a reasonable price. I went here for Japanese hair straightening and it's just like the ones that you get if you drive two hours north to Vancouver, even better, without the driving.

My best friend recommended me this place since Mieko does her lashes for couple years. I've been coming to Ben's for eyelash extensions for a year now. Mieko does very good job doing my extension all the time. She is very king and carding because she warms up chair before my appointment and put extra heat on the top in winter season. She makes sure that I get what I want all the time. I strongly recommend this salon for eye lash extensions.
