I chose this shop as they were Subaru certified. Overall amazing experience, very professional, explained all the details upfront, kept updated throughout the process, very transparent about charges as well. Received by car much earlier than the committed time. it was a body repair, but very well done, and the best part is the car was cleaned so well, felt as good as getting in to a new car. I highly recommend Carstar Bellevue to anyone looking for a repair shop in the area.!

Excellent from the beginning! Other shops were hesitant to work on an EV car. They were very friendly and happily were willing to work on the vehicle. The wait time to get an appointment was less than a week. Repairs were done timely with email updates throughout the process. Excellent work! Highly recommend!

I had my car worked on at CARSTAR in Bellevue, and I’m really happy with how everything turned out. They did some paint and parts work, and the car looks great.
The customer service was also top-notch.
I’d definitely recommend CARSTAR Bellevue.

I didn’t have the best experience. I had to follow up repeatedly to check the status of my car. And even when I picked it up, I was charged more than my deductible because they didn’t negotiate with the insurance company well. High labour charges is what contributed to it. So avoid if the damage is major as you might end up paying extra out of pocket.

Highly recommend! If you are looking for helpful, trustworthy people who aren’t trying to take advantage of you, go to Carstar Bellevue! I thought I would need an expensive bumper replacement but instead their technician fixed it for me in 20 minutes free of charge. Will definitely go back if I ever need other body work. Thank you!

This shop was recommended to me by my dealership and they are also in network with my insurance.
The entire process was very smooth. I dropped off my car, and they handled everything else. They sent messages to provide updates.
I picked up my car, and it looked like nothing had happened to it! They cleaned my car so thoroughly. It looked brand new!
I’ll use them again in the future.

Disclaimer: neutral review as no work was done there. This post is more of a FYI for anyone looking to take their car there.
Went there for an estimate of a small dent from someone backing into me in a parking lot. The person working at Carstar was nice enough to have a quick look for damage repair estimate and quoted me $5000-$7000 and requested that I go through my insurance. Given the unexpectedly high quote for such a small dent I took my car to a shop 5 mins from them and had it fixed for $1100 the same day out of pocket. Still thought that was kind of high but it was at least acceptable and quick.
TLDR: always seek out a second/third quote and ask for the price out of pocket even if you will be going through insurance because they know they can get a MUCH higher margin through insurance reimbursement.

Do not go here. They are a fraud. It was accident but they called my insurance company and made THREE CLAIMS open to make more money. They billed insurance more than $13000 to repair using three different claim. Also, Service is terrible. When you call them car will be repair in few weeks and when you call again same reply 2 weeks. It took more than a month to repair and when I went to pick up the car i still found more scratches and damage that was not repair. So i had to leave the car for few more days. Overall Very disappointing and bad experience. I will never go here again. Total fraud to make more money from the insurance. Please shop wisely and be careful.

Very happy they detailed my car before and after service. Everyone was friendly and professional. Service took a little longer than expected but that's fine. I'll definitely choose this place again if I need some work done.
