I think an honest owner and crew. Always communicate and never fix things that aren't broken.

My car was having issue in front brakes after checking all major auto repair shops I ended up Chevron Auto Main St Bellevue after seeing review. I found Paul is amazing and expert in his job. I got Calipers, Brake Rotors and Brake Pads done from Paul, brakes are working very nice and strong like new. He completed job within given time frame and proper satisfaction, though a bit expensive but it's a quality work. I would highly recommend Paul for all car repair works. Thanks Paul.

Paul has done work on both my cars on numerous occasions. His rates are always reasonable and honest. Every time I look at what parts would have cost wholesale, and his markup has always been reasonable. It's hard to find honest work these days, but you'll find it here. If you think you can do it yourself for cheaper, you haven't figured the cost of swearing at your car, scaring the kids and alienating your significant other. If you swear like I do, take your car to Paul. Your family and neighbors will thank you.

We asked Paul for an estimate for over the phone and when he could do the repair. He said if we dropped it off shortly he’d try to get to it today but tomorrow it would be done. He was way ahead of schedule, in less than 3 hours he had it repaired and stuck to his estimate. Would highly recommend Bellevue Chevron for their integrity and skill.

I went there for a brake job on my Acura MDX. I was truly overwhelmed by the transparency and efforts put by Paul. He was honest, and never recommended unnecessary part replacements. But to my shock, after a couple of days, when I checked the prices of Napa parts billed to me. Owner charged me over $290 for $170 parts apart from labor costs. I never felt so cheated. I could have got the job done from the dealership. But nothing to be taken away from Paul, I really appreciate all his efforts. And would like to take my car for repair to him, if he joins some other place.

This Chevron took advantage of my 79 year old mom! My mom's regular Chevron was too busy to replace a light bulb in her mini cooper. It's a 30 minute process involving removing things inside the trunk. She asked if the mechanic was familiar with minis and he said yes. 45 minutes later (and only $43), he said he was all done and she drove away. The VERY NEXT DAY, the dome light was coming off and on and the light indicating the convertible top was activating kept coming on. She reached out to this shop and they told her she would have to schedule for several days later. Turns out the mechanic that did the work was the manager, Paul. She couldn't afford to miss work for that many days, so she went back to her regular shop. He found wires pulled out and melted plastic. He had to replace the tail light, install plastic that holds the switch correctly so the light doesn't stay on (which caused damage and deformation to plastic), and install wiring gromet into trunk lid. That was the immediate work necessary to prevent a fire or further damage. The next day she had to go back to replace the package shelf switch. Total of $557.14! When I contacted Paul, he told me he was the one that did the work and was very quick to argue that if they screw up, they are supposed to get first dibs at fixing the work. Then he argued that he didn't know it was his work that caused the problem! (the day after he did the work, in the same place he did the work). He was hostile and said he wouldn't pay for someone else's labor, when I told him the correction had already been completed. Paul was the first one to mention taking advantage, when he defensively told me that he "didn't take advantage of her, I only charged her around $40". The damage he caused was visible to ANYONE that looked. He knew he screwed up and instead of apologizing, explaining, and arranging for my mom to come back at a convenient time FOR HER, he chose to try to hide it and hoped she wouldn't notice until time had gone by and he could deny it was his work that caused the damage. Shame on this Chevron and Paul! He did take advantage of a 79 year old woman and won't hesitate to do it again- on any vehicle he screws up the work on.

What kind of gas station closes its restrooms at 5p????In response to owner: Yes, I'm sure. I've double-checked the map and my navigation history. There was a sign on the outer door saying "restrooms closed for cleaning". I politely asked how long it would take and the worker said they were actually closed for the night since it was after 5 and apparently only one person is on staff after 5. He had also refused to fill a propane tank for the person in front of me, for the same reason. His phrasing indicated that this was customary, not a one-time thing.

The very rude attendant lady flung the door open as I was leaving my car. She came out of the shop to tell me "No parking!!!! $15 fee!" Ma'am, how do I tell you that BY LAW I CAN PARK HERE? I said incredulousl, "Do you want to see my placard?" She said, "Yeah, show me your placard." Lady--no one is allowed to ask for my placard and identifying information except for a peace officer. I just left my car parked there and left.

Had a nail in one of tires and needed it fixed asap. Went to two places and was told to come back tomorrow or next week. Being fed up I tried my luck one last place at Bellevue Chevron and they fixed it within 5 min.

You wouldn't normally think that a local service station could compete with factory trained technicians at major dealerships. Wrong! Today, for the second time, Paul and his service crews have proved themselves superior to dealership technicians. The first time was a couple of years ago, when I smelled a gas leak from the engine of my 8 year old VW Tuareg. I took the car in to Michaels VW of Bellevue. They couldn't find any leak, I took it to Paul and his crew who found a very dangerous fuel leak near the carburetor. When I took it back to Michaels, they wouldn't release the car until they could fix it. The second time Paul rescued me from a problem is when the technicians at VW of Kirkland couldn't find the cause of my intermittent left rear turn signal. After replacing the light bulb they charged me $120 to replaced the light bulb fixture. When that didn't solve the problem they suggested doing a $200 diagnostic check. I took the car back to Paul at the Old Bellevue Chevron station who found the problem without charging me any extra. That is what I call 5 star service.

My elderly mother's 2006 Durango was in extreme need of service. The last service had been pre-COVID. She dropped the car, Paul took her home. Then, he came to pick her up after the service was complete. Aside from normal oil, filter, fluids change there was service necessary on the brakes and suspension. The price was very reasonable (frankly much less than I expected). I recently drove her car and it is in excellent shape. If you seek great customer attention, excellent maintenance work and very fair prices, you need look no further than Bellevue Chevron Auto Repair & GasService: General repairs & maintenance

EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM PAUL & JESSE!!! I'm from out of state for work & had the transmission go out on my car. I had the good fortune of having my car towed to the shop. Not only did these gentleman diagnose the problem, they also gave me a quote for repairs & inquired about rush delivery of the parts needed to do it. Paul went above and beyond to refer me to a Towing Co. that might transport it back to my home state and is allowing the car to stay at the shop until transport can pick it up. This is my very 1st experience with having a vehicle break down away from home (I'm in my 50's) & that it couldn't have happened in a better location! I truly would recommend this shop to ANYONE & EVERYONE! GREAT JOB PAUL & JESSE!!! Your amazing customer service is appreciated! Thank you!!!Services: Check engine light diagnostic

Best auto repair guys in Bellevue. They're close to my house but I've taken my car into a few other places over the years. Paul has looked at a few things that were wrong w/ my car and truck over the years, and I've come to trust him for general auto repair. Totally honest, very good prices, good timing, calls back. Hate those guys that don't call you back. Only thing is sometimes I've had to wait longer than anticipated for parts, but Paul comes through w/ great engine repairs that never gave me issues in the past. Also solid place for an oil and lube and 30, 60 and 90k checks. Awesome guys. Old school, straight up, no bs environment. Solid.Services: General repairs & maintenance
