Saw a 10 pm showing in imax. I’ve never been in a hotter theater in my life. Half full theater and a/c was either broken or not turned on. No notice
Must have been 80 degrees in there.
Unacceptable and made it hard to enjoy what should have been an amazing movie experience. Seats also not comfortable for the price point. Dreadful experience, would go to any other imax theater over this one.

IMAX:
- Screen is good.
- Audio and acoustics are terrible. Way too loud with only mids and highs and barely any bass.
- Seats are uncomfortable and don’t recline properly.
- Movie started exactly at the screening time which was surprising to me.

Cinemark is an great option for watching all kinds of cinema if you are a movie lover.
The theater is clean, the staff is efficient and the popcorn is delicious. There are ample screens available - 16 in total. I am a great fan of the place for its ease of access and since it is right in the heart of the downtown it's easy to do have a day at movies combined with a bit of shopping or dining out.
The only reason for me to dock a star is the lack of reclining seats in this Cinemark a la the one at Totem Lake. There is another Cinemark in the same shopping complex which has recliners but the selection of movies at that theater is limited.

I've been to lot of movie theatre across the world, the standard auditoriums(except IMAX and XD) here at the Lincoln Square Cinemark are by far the worst in terms of sound quality. The sound is so underwhelming such that it spoils the whole movie viewing experience. My home theatre sound system sounds much better. I would rather not watch a movie than watch it in the standard theatre here (but sadly a lot of international movies are only played at this location). The Dine-In auditorium or the nearby Cinemark totem lake in Kirkland are much better. I see a couple of other reviews mentioned the same so kindly take this feedback and improve the sound quality please.

Horrible theater policy.
Theater is located in a mall that is filled with restaurants but you’re not allowed to bring leftovers in with you - even sealed. If you came via public transit, your options are to trash your food or waste a ticket.
Such a corporate shill policy for a theater clearly not doing well by the looks of how empty it is on a Saturday night.
+ NO coke freestyle machines.

If you book a closed captions movie showtime, expect the previews to still not have captions. This is inaccessible for those who are hard of hearing and expected better.

I enjoyed a good movie here, all the staff here are super nice and professional. Nathaniel from guest service desk went above and beyond to help me find a wallet I left behind. He’s very kind and helpful, made my day!
