I was in town for a few days and dropped in for a class at CrossFit 425 and loved it. Great coaches and awesome community made the experience incredibly welcoming...and the workout was great too!
Definitely looking forward to coming back next time I'm in town.

I joined CrossFit 425 in winter, when it was cold, dark, and dreary, and I was completely new to CrossFit. From my initial call, Braxton explained the program and asked about my background. “Tell me, what kind of athlete are you?” I responded that I’d like to be one. Now, eight months into CrossFit, I can say that Braxton and Brenda’s coaching, along with the support of the elite and kind athletes in the 6am class, has been absolutely game-changing.
Intimidating comes to mind as it was initially, but the community they’ve built is wonderfully warm and welcoming. Braxton unapologetically wants to bring out the best in you—challenges you, pushes you, cheers you on, and most importantly, meets you where you are. He has a keen eye for everyone (sometimes the silent observations are baffling) that allows him to approach you and articulate the proper and safe movements. He marvelously demonstrates from a place of familiarity, often associating practical things, “Imagine there’s a 40-pound med ball you have to throw behind you,”…and there I was, successfully refined my hang clean squats.
Come try CrossFit 425—Braxton throws in fun games as well, making it playful and have a little laugh and bond with other members.

I’ve been going to CrossFit 425 for 4 years now. Before signing up I thought I could never do what cross fitters do. I felt like by body wasn’t strong enough to flip tires and lift the weight they do.
I was a member of a gym and would just do my usual cardio and a bit of weights, nothing more. A co-worker of mine referred a friend and I to CrossFit 425, she told us to pop-in and check it out. After our 3 free pop-ins, we decided to join. The atmosphere of the gym felt welcoming and friendly. I like that people approached us, introduce themselves and welcomed us to the gym, none of that “I’m too cool for school” nonsense.
This gym has strived me to become a better person inside and out. Its helped me maintain a healthy weight and build muscle, no more BINGO arms ?. I could say that I have gain a new family coming to this gym, everyone supports one and another and encourages you to do better. The coaches are amazing, if it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t be as strong and lift what I can today.
If your looking for a gym where you can sweat, burn LOTS of calories, gain new friends and have fun, CrossFit 425 is your place.

My interaction with the coach was so disappointing that I didn't even stay for the trial class; I simply left. I should've known with the outdated social media pages and the lack of integration between their contact page and email system that this was going to be rough.
When I asked about the class exercises for the day because I said I like to mentally prepare myself, the coach responded back to me in a patronizing tone, "You need to prepare yourself for exercise?". It was a dismissive and unprofessional attitude, particularly considering the coach's supposed 14 years of experience, which they made sure to mention multiple times. This lack of enthusiasm and willingness to engage with members is concerning.
Overall the coach's demeanor was outright hostile, rude, and inconsiderate. I would tell anyone that is looking for gym with a good community, it probably is not this one and to look elsewhere.

I've been coming to CrossFit 425 for almost 6 months and it has been a great experience. The athletes are welcoming and the coaches are great. I've been doing CrossFit for about 10 years, so generally knew what to expect, but suggestions and tips from the coaches are always helpful.

I noticed a review here of MY gym that I strongly disagree with. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but this one seemed in the realm of angry retaliation rather than an honest review. In light of Eunice’s limited experience with and hasty review of CrossFit 425, I am going to say the program in general, isn’t for everyone. It’s hard work, dedication, practice, and passion to learn that allow you to develop the strength and skills necessary to master the movements. It seems pretty clear that Eunice came in with more of an antagonistic attitude ready to disrupt the session. Which is discourteous to the entire class. Each CrossFit gym has their own routine and culture and it’s up to you as a new member to see which gym is the best fit for you personally. Sounds like Eunice came in with her own ideas and expectations and when she discovered something different, she became indignant and obnoxious! Not a good start, Eunice.
As a CrossFit 425 O.G. member, I have been working out with Braxton and Brent for…. Wait for it…. 14 years! The programming, the support, and the community are awesome, IMHO. Looking forward to another 14!!

I’ve been doing CrossFit for a few years, so while in Bellevue for work, I dropped in for a class with Braxton. The gym was really clean and Braxton was very welcoming, making sure to introduce me to the other athletes in his 425 community. The music was on point, the programming provided a good mix of stretching, strength, and metcon, and Braxton provided coaching and cheering throughout the workout. I’m looking forward to going back!

Was in Bellevue for a long weekend and had the opportunity to take two classes with Braxton. It was my first time trying CrossFit and immediately felt welcome to the community. More than that, Braxton took time before the workout to make sure I understood the exercises and also checked in throughout the class, providing motivation and suggestions. My favorite part was how intentionally and strategically Braxton was in creating the WOD. The color coding was so easy to follow. If I lived in Bellevue I would definitely join!

This box has been a game changer-- the coach is funny and skilled in supporting technique and form. The community is unmatched in making a new person feel welcomed. I've recently been bringing my 10 yr old along and his confidence has gone through the roof with all the gassing up he gets..added bonus. This is the spot.

One of the few best CrossFit I have visited in last 5years. Your money will be totally valued and have ample space/equipment.
