Me and my business partners have come here many times and we obviously spend a lot of money here and always tip well on top of gratuity. One of our meals was totally messed up twice in the same night. The waiter tried to make up an excuse for the mistake. The corrected stake was said to be out in 8 minutes but took 18. Our friend ended up not even wanting the stake at that point and told them to not even bring it out. We normally don’t really mind mistakes, but at this level of dinning you want to get what you’re paying for. They only comped the 1 meal before we asked to make it right for us. They then took off gratuity which was $120 on a $800 bill and we still tipped after. Just a bad night. Should have comped more but we wanted to leave at that point.

Daniel's is always on our short list when we are in the mood for a good steak.Both locations (Bellevue and Lake Union) are wonderful. Always great food, great staff and cool views!!!

Came here for a first date. Felt very rushed and the waitress was a little excessive. Within seconds of sitting down we just wanted water to start with. They came and cleared the rest of the table (wine glasses, silverware and plates all while reaching in front of us without saying anything). Then she asked if we had been to the restaurant before. We explained no, so she decides to go over every item on the menu for about 5 minutes as fast as she could possibly talk. Felt like we were being judged we didn't order $200 steaks. Whatever. Got our food in a very timely matter. Once we got it she came by about three different times in about 10 minutes asking if we needed anything or if everything was okay. At this point my date and myself were just kind of annoyed that we didn't get to sit and enjoy. We had the menu read off to us, we kept getting interrupted, some guy was watching over us the whole time. It was just very strange. We both left saying the food was fabulous but the service was heavy and rushed. I'm all for good service, but we were just another couple spending money. We still had a $200 bill as well. She was extremely polite may I mention. But sometimes it would be nice to sit and think for ourselves and just relax. Enjoy the view. It didn't feel like it here.

Professional and very experienced wait staff. Wonderful service. Food was superb as always but pricey. Restaurant was full and table was located under a speaker so it was very loud and made conversation more challenging.

Fantastic service and mostly the food was good but our steaks were really charred on the outside. The center was perfect, so I'm not sure what happened. Otherwise everything was delicious. But it is a steak place, so good steak should be a no brainer.

Daniel's never disappoints; they're a go to spot for celebrations. I've tried most of their steaks and usually prefer the New York or the Rib Eye.

EXCELLENT Valentine Dinner---due to Billy Mac the PIANO MAN. Tip: the BAR is the BEST place in the Restaurant. You can Eat/Drink ON THE PIANO! It has a clear plastic/epoxy top, so you can enjoy your Meal/Drinks ON the Piano. Billy Mac their resident Piano Man is an EXCELLENT Entertainer. So it's FUN to sit up close to him--and makes it EASY to request Songs. The entire large Bar is FUN as you can watch the Chefs at work, the View from the 21st Floor, an outdoor balcony, and the banter of other Guests. In comparison, the remainder of the Restaurant is too quiet and boring. You do NOT need a Reservation for the entertaining Bar. Just confirm the Piano Man's hours of appearance.

Went out more for drinks. Had 3 drinks, the snow cream was my favorite. It was a nice comfort drink that tasted delicious. The tequila cocktail was nice and simple, wouldn’t recommend if you want something special. The other drink I don’t remember the name but it had a slice of orange peel. I recommend as a stronger drink that reminded me of tea. Had the ahi tuna chips. Really good as well! Recommend if you don’t want meat. The cookie dessert was delicious as well, can never go wrong with the gooeyness and ice cream. The shot of milk it came with was fun. If you’re coming without the Costco gift card, then it’s not really worth it

Underwhelming for the price. My salmon was cooked well, but the orzo/squash/asparagus it came with was overcooked and had zero flavor. My family said their steak was average. The wedge salad was very good.

Not worth the price honestly. Portions were kinda small and the steak was a bit too charred. All in all i feel like i could have gotten the same quality of food at other restaurants for half the price. Server was great though

Food was really meh. Especially when spending almost $300 for two people who were sharing a steak. We also got a few drinks and one side and a dessert. Trio of sauces were subpar, and they didn’t let us know that each sauce was $8 and not $8 for a trio. Bernaise did not taste like bernaise. Steak was slightly lacking in flavor. Crème brûlée was curdling and the granulated layer at the top was burnt, and hard to chew. I’ve been to many steakhouses and this was not worth the money. All in all the food was lacking, but atmosphere and server were great. Unfortunately, I’d choose El Gaucho down the street any day.

too bad we liked this place... last night we went with the kids for Valentine's day. In spite the $520 spent (2 adults and 2 kids) and the almost one hour waiting for the food (maybe normal considering the occasion) the filet mignon was terrible. I had a flight with 3 pieces, the wife had the regular. All of them tasted the same, with a strong addition of stale oil and fish added as if there was no time to clean the grill. Made me sick to the stomach for hours after getting back home. And the 2 wine glasses ("we don't have the half bottle") had almost half of one of them with all the bottle deposits. Which was the taste this whole thing left for me... not going back any time soon.

Enjoyed our anniversary at Daniel’s, the experience was nice. The service was great and the atmosphere of the 21st floor restraunt sets it apart from other steakhouses across the country. It was classy but modern. The appetizers were phenomenal and the most exciting part of the meal. The steaks and main entree on the other hand lacked excitement. In the heat of the moment it was fine but my steaks were obviously rare instead of medium rare, and the flavor was not as full and inclusive as other steak houses that use the same cooking method. Still good but not the best for the money. I would highly recommend the owners travel to Houston and visit Vic and Anthony’s and other high end steak houses in Houston to try and elevate on your dishes.
