The staff and tennis coaches at Edgebrook are really kind, helpful and fun. Coach Sean is a highly rated tennis player and a veteran coach who is also a wonderful human being. He has coached my son and me for 5 years now. Coach Alex goes the extra mile to support your child's development, even attending their competitive matches outside the club on his own initiative, to cheer and take notes for their development. Coaches James and Anthony are relatively new to the club, but first impressions are very positive. The pool facility is well utilized and has been getting many useful upgrades post Covid.

Good luck getting a tennis court. If you’re not part of a clique or a court mafia, you will not get a court. They might as well call the monthly membership fee a donation. There are folks who are playing 6 days a week and folks playing zero times. The club is somewhat mismanaged, cliquey, and has way too many members for the courts available. As I type this review, I have not been able to book a court on Friday, Saturday or Sunday for four weeks. That’s $115 paid to this business (that portends to be non-profit) with $0 in value being returned to me. This review is not a reflection of staff who work there who are all very helpful and pleasant, and possibly the shining star about this club. This review is a reflection of management, the board, and mostly the cliques that run this place.

It's a nice facility with good amount of space on the deck for the swimmers (only 6 lanes though). But there is essentially no parking, the bleachers are made out of concrete and are very uncomfortable, there's no food on site, and the bathrooms are incredibly small and crowded. If your swimmer has a meet here, I would come very early, get a good parking spot at Tyee middle school next door, find a good spot on the grass to camp out, and bring your own food and drink.

My child is doing great in tennis but theres some flaws. First of all, Coach sean is WAY TOO TOUCHY. I saw my child come back from tennis and she informed me that he was making kids uncomfortable and touching their hands AND throwing tennis balls at them. My girl is a kind student and follows EVERY rule. I also think they need to hire better tennis coaches. The only coach my girl has ever liked was coach ben.

Only been a spectator for water polo in the outdoor pool buts its ok I guess. I am sure it was an amazing facility in the past but it looks dated now & for a "tournament" facility for water polo in the fall around here it was inadequate. Even with an unusually warm fall this year it was too cold to have a water event outdoors, in the rain with no coverage. Even thinking of it as a summer time place the lack of coverage would mean no shade which is no good

We started our kids in the junior tennis program at ages 7 and 9. Pretty soon they were hooked and we moved on to private lessons with Jamie Waltz who is really really great with kids and teaching proper form. Now that the whole family joined as equity members, we come here to practice pretty often. I think if you are serious about tennis and want to make tennis a life long family activity and sport - joining Edgebrook is a great investment.
