If you’re looking for a good bang for your buck when it comes to hair and beauty services, this beauty school is a great choice. The students are eager to learn, always open to feedback, and you can tell they genuinely want to improve. The instructors are skilled and very good at guiding them through the process, so you still feel like you’re in good hands.
The only downside is that because this is a teaching environment, things naturally move slower. If you have a lot of hair or are getting a more involved service, plan to spend extra time here beyond your scheduled appointment.
One last tip: bring cash for tipping, because they don’t accept tips on cards.
Overall, a great experience if you’re patient and want quality service at a much lower cost!

My boyfriend and I got our hair cut by hayden butler and had an amazing experience. She was very knowledgeable and asked a lot of questions to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. I walked out with a pro cut and blow out for $15! Highly recommend it.

I love ebc! Wonderful environment and instructors and is full of hardworking skilled students, especially Natasha! She is the sweetest. Such lovely company and conversation and she took really great care with everything. Natasha made sure I got everything I wanted and more with my hair and I absolutely love it. A super fun experience!

I'm not very particular about my haircuts, so I decided to try out a beauty college for a simple trim. I planned ahead and arrived in the parking lot 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment. Just as I was about to get out of the car, I received a call from the college informing me that my appointment had been canceled.
I was shocked—especially since it had taken me 30 minutes to drive there from Seattle. Canceling just 15 minutes before the appointment shows a lack of respect for clients' time and poor management overall. I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed.

I had such a great experience with Natasha at Evergreen in North Seattle! She did an amazing job on my hair, super professional, detail-oriented, and made sure I left feeling confident and happy with the results. She really listened to what I wanted and delivered perfectly. I have booked maybe 6 appointments here over the past few years, I almost always book the service online, and out of the 6 services booked online TWICE now I booked ONE service online, but when their online servers talk to the local servers to book the appointment locally it gets put into the local system as a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT service! 🙄 Someone in their IT department or whoever put their website together, or wrote the code for their online booking made a BIG mistake! The service is always GREAT, but their online booking is a NIGHTMARE! Unfortunately they are just so BUSY all the time that there is never any room to fix the scheduling errors from services booked online within the same day. That just further complicates things.
