I’ve been getting my haircuts from Gina for the past two years and I can honestly say she is hands down the best! As someone who’s always been picky about how my hair is cut, I’ve finally found someone who truly gets it.
From the moment I sit down, Gina takes the time to listen to what I want, and they always give me a fresh, stylish look that works with my hair type and face shape. Whether it’s a trim or a full style change, I always leave feeling confident and looking great. The attention to detail is incredible, and I can tell they really care about making sure I’m happy with the result.
The atmosphere in the salon is friendly, professional, and relaxed, making each visit a pleasant experience. On top of the fantastic haircut, Gina always gives great tips on how to care for my hair at home and recommends products that actually work for me.

I had my first haircut with Geena a few week ago. It was a great experience overall; she taught me all about how to properly take care of my curly hair (from shampooing/conditioning techniques, products, and aftercare), which I have learned not every stylist has expertise in. I left the visit with not only happy hair, but a real education. It feels great to have a personalized experience with someone so knowledgeable. Thanks again Geena! 💇♀️😄

Geena is so fantastic with all hair types especially with curly hair. The first time I came in my hair was so damaged and brittle and my scalp had so much build up. Within just my second appointment my hair was already was so much better. She styles curly hair so well and also gives you information and advice on how to better take care of your hair. She is so good that I literally am going to start flying from LA to do my hair with her.

I am so glad I started going to Geena. My hair was so damaged it took so long to dry and looked so flat. My first session with Geena she taught me a lot about hair health. She answers all of my questions and has taught me how to strengthen my hair. She is very honest and will always tell me what my hair needs and how it is doing. My hair has never felt or looked better.

Geena made me love my hair again, truly
I have never put much thought or time into my hair, so going into my consultation with Geena I wasn’t sure exactly what she was going to recommend to me. However, from the moment I sat down in the chair she gave me such valuable information about how I should go about hair care. You can tell how skilled and knowledgeable she is because she puts so much thought and care into making sure you understand how to care for your hair.
After the consultation I scheduled a hair cut with Geena and I could not be happier. Going in, I had damaged hair that had been sitting for months without any professional care and uneven bangs. She gave me layers and volume with bangs that frame my face so nicely. Seriously feel like a new person!!!
So so incredibly pleased with my cut and I’d recommend everyone go to her. She knows what she’s doing.

Geena is an exceptional hair stylist and a delight to work with. She starts with a detailed discussion about your current hair routines and goals, and works with you to arrive at a vision that achieves your desired style while best flattering you. She is honest and gives her opinion while ultimately executing your vision as the expert on your own hair.
Both her cuts and coloring skills are reflective of her 25+ years of experience, and will likely be some of the best you ever have. As someone with curly hair I find it difficult to find hair stylists I can trust, and am very happy to have found her.
She also strongly emphasizes client education, and ensures that you understand how to best take care of your hair given your hair type, goals, and lifestyle.
I rarely leave fully positive reviews, but I struggled to come up with any negative points. I wholly recommend you give her a try if you are in the area!

I came to see Geena from Mexico City. Before coming with her my hair was very damaged of many years of doing keratin treatment and uneven hair color. She not only educated me about my hair but also healed it and fixed the color to make it look very natural with hair lights. My natural color is black but she left me looking as a natural brunett-blonde. Definitely, the best hairstylist I’ve been to and keep going to. She’s kind, fast and definitely an expert.

I've tested many hair stylists in my lifetime but never stuck with one. I also never used to get regular hair cuts/trims/color, mainly because I never had a stylist I trusted nor had confidence in.
Then I met Geena. Invest in getting to know her and let her get to know you and your personal style. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about her work and clients and it shows. An example of her skill with haircuts shows the way my haircut looks fresh even if I'm a couple weeks late for a trim (not all wonky and uneven after other haircuts). This is all because of the WAY she cuts hair. It's magic.
Come in ready to share what you're trying to achieve and she will be 100% honest with you in terms of if it is attainable, if it's manageable, suits your personality/lifestyle, and if it will look good on you. 99% of my past experience with other stylists ended with me being unhappy with the result and bitter that they lied about being able to achieve styles shared during consultation.
If for some reason your hair does not come out exactly how you envisioned/discussed with Geena, just be honest with her and she will work with you on a solution.
It has been a couple years since I've been with Geena and everyday is a good hair day, I get stopped by random strangers to compliment/ask to take pics of my hair to take to their own stylists, and most importantly I've learned to properly care for my hair.
I do not take enough pics/selfies of my hair, but attached are just some examples of different hair styles and colors/highlights done by Geena. They are far from glamour shots, but I'm hoping you can see the quality. In writing this review, I just made a promise to myself to take more pics of good hair while I still have it. =) Life is too short for boring hair. Go visit Geena.

I recently discovered Geena’s salon and I couldn't be more pleased! She is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, taking the time to teach me about my hair and how to care for it. Her skills in cutting and coloring are top-notch; my hair has never looked better. Each time I visit her, my hair looks healthier and healthier. As a bonus, Geena’s been helping me learn more about my Korean roots. I rarely give reviews, but I highly recommend her services for anyone looking for a fantastic hair experience!

Geena is amazing! I’ve always dreaded going to the hair salon because I’ve never liked how my hair looks afterwards. To temporarily combat my hair’s frizziness and poor health, I was constantly flat ironing it and never spent time actually taking care of it.
I went to Geena originally for Japanese Thermal Straightening (JTS), which I’m so glad didn’t actually happen (Geena was very honest in telling me that my hair was too damaged and colored/bleached to do JTS). I came out of my first appointment with so much new knowledge and understanding of why my hair is the way it is and how it’s become so damaged. Geena taught me ways to care for my hair from how to shampoo/condition properly to restoring my hair cuticle health. As someone who has never been educated on hair care and maintenance, this opened up a brand new perspective for me.
Geena is not only a skilled and professional hair stylist, but she is also a great human being who genuinely cares about her clients and their hair health. I will be taking my hair care much more seriously moving forward and look forward to seeing her every time!
