I had half turkey sandwich with a bowl of tomato florentine soup. The sandwich was super basic but eatable, the soup on the other hand was literally canned tomatoes in a bowl and they added some kale to it to make it look like its not. Nothing else in it! And it tasted just as a can of tomatoes! That's not a soup.My son's sunny side up eggs were cold and some of the potatoes were undercooked. We were both pretty disapointed. Not to mention it was over $65! Not sure for what.

When I travel I always seek out local places with wholesome food and good vibes - such at Gilbert’s on Main - highly recommend for breakfast / lunch and in between. What I loved: food was great, order and pay at the counter, free flow of self service coffee and water - nice and cozy local vibe. Walking distance from most downtown Bellevue hotel

I have been going here for years and it has remained pretty much the same. Consistent in their food prep and always busy. Matsa ball soup is wonderful as are the many breakfast options and of course great Bagels! Hard to get a table here, but once you have one, it's a fun people watching location. Pricing is their achilles heal, it's expensive, but they don't lack for customers due to there quality. Sharing a breakfast is recommended as the portions are large! Enjoy!!! Overpriced, no service, slow, and mediocre brunch. I guess they have amazing Reubens but don't bother with anything else.

Super busy and hot. Portions are large and tasty but the prices are a little high and you basically serve and seat yourself.

The service is the worst I have seen, don’t recommend wasting time and arrive there because the menu items and availability are not right and they decide what to serve when so you will end up searching for a last minute

Edit to my earlier review: popped in here on Thursday to give it another chance and was blown away to see the price they were charging for a Ruben; $27...... No thanks. My review from 5 years ago: Too expensive, otherwise it would be good. I spent $19 on a soup/ half sandwich combo. Also, every time we have gone they are out of bagels.

This is a great place to stop for breakfast or brunch. They have great bagels but you can also get eggs, pancakes, French toast. Lots of tables to eat inside and a few outside as well. Cute little neighborhood as well to walk around after or before you eat. Free parking if you are lucky to find a spot. Large menu and books for kids to read while you wait for your food.

One of the first restaurants I’ve tried in Bellevue area and I’m impressed. The turkey sandwich was amazing I came back to try breakfast. The Nov deluxe definitely hit the spot. So the 3rd time I tried the Greek omelette and it’s the best omelette I’ve ever had, no joke. The side potatoes are amazing I didn’t even need a sauce. Cozy spot with some outdoor seating and quick service.

Loved the food and atmosphere, especially the Reuben. But very expensive for a sandwich.

Extremely overpriced. An order of pancakes for over $15 is absurd. The fact that people are willing to pay this is a problem.Food is not good either.
