Patiently guiding us through the process, they took the time to understand our preferences. The personalized attention and flexibility with appointments made the journey stress-free and enjoyable. What stood out the most was their commitment to ensuring our satisfaction. The quality of the ring showcased their craftsmanship and attention to detail, and I am absolutely in love with this ring. Lance was super informative and kind. He spent hours with us to help us decide on what ring is best and was super transparent about the positives and negatives of different settings and styles. Loved his input! Gretchen was also super helpful and kind! Super classy place, with a very personal feel!

Having read their great reviews, I contacted Gordon James via the chat feature on their website. I wanted a special gift for a staff member who was retiring after 25 years. Matthew responded and assured me that they had options within my budget. When I arrived, I met Matthew, along with his parents/founding owners Gordon and Gretchen. They showed me several options and I purchased an exquisite necklace -- the pendant was the Tree of Life with an array of diamonds that added just the right touch of sparkle. Perfect.The store has beautiful pieces that you won't find in a chain store. The service is exceptional. The price was right. They'll be "my jewelers" from now on.Tip: there is designated parking behind there store...a real + in that part of Bellevue.

Professionalism. Genuine warmth. Above and beyond customer service.My fiancé is someone who spends hours and hours (and days and days) just deciding which flight to take on a vacation, so when he picked Gordon James Fine Diamonds I had no doubt this was the best option, and yet I was still blown away by my experience there. We went in and met with Matt for a wedding band and I had a few vague ideas of what I wanted but nothing concrete. We looked at a few bands but none of them quite seemed to fit what I wanted. That evening I went home and doodled my idea. I sent it to Matt, and without hesitation he got to work.I didn’t expect him to match the drawing so precisely but you can see for yourself! Matt and Gordon’s fine diamonds just go the extra mile with a demeanor that says they really care about you, not just making a sale.I can’t recommend them enough over and over again.P.s. little added bonus: pick up a compliment homemade caramel made by Gordon himself! If they ever leave jewelry business, they’ll have no issues making it in the confectionary world. BEST. CARAMEL. EVER.

They did a beautiful job repairing my grandmothers delicate opal and diamond ring. They did it faster and for less expensive then quoted. They also were so great about another old delicate garnet ring I brought it to be cleaned. Unfortunately because of how old it is, it cannot go into the cleaner machine, however they gave me a cleaning pen that really has been working magic on it.

The jeweler here was incredibly rude and condescending. I am shocked that someone who owns/runs this type of business can speak to potential customers in this manner and think that they can still keep people coming in. Please find elsewhere to go if you would like better customer service.

Had a great experience working with the gentlemen at this store, including the jeweler who creates the pieces. What I appreciate the most is the level of service they provided me with such a tiny purchase. I came in looking for a new wedding band for my husband and instead they fixed his existing ring. They just wanted a happy customer no matter the price tag. Thank you!
