The workers, who are mainly Mexican, may not be knowledgeable about Indian groceries. On a positive note, the store sells fresh rotis and sugarcane juice made on-site. Customers have had mixed experiences with the staff, with some finding them helpful and supportive, while others have encountered obnoxious behavior. The store accepts only card payments, as it does not have a tap option. Overall, the India Metro Hypermarket provides a good selection of Indian groceries, but the customer service can be hit or miss.
We bought makhana from the brand they carry in store, and it was spoiled - telling by the smell. The staff were very nice and helpful and let us exchange the Makhana. Unfortunately, new one was also spoiled. While still not expiry date. Be careful and check groceries before leaving the store.
