Sunday, Nov 12Met a super rude staff in this store! Janie and Jack has really cute and fancy child clothing items but the attitude of staff in this store is very very bad. I have never seen such bad customer service in this mall. Don’t shop here!Saturday, Dec 2Gave the store a second chance and this time I had a much better experience. Monica, a young white girl, was very polite and professional. So I guess they do have both bad and good staffs in this store depending on your luck. Thank you Monica for bringing back a customer!

Amazing store with wonderful customer service. The little Asian man was very helpful in finding the right color and size shoes for my friend’s daughter. I unfortunately cannot remember his name but he was very knowledgeable about children’s shoe materials.

I have shopped Janie and Jack for 15 years. I have supported this store and outfitted all my kids and nieces and nephews with everything JJ.Today I was greeted and treated with rude rude manager at this store.I had a gift return without a receipt - it’s usually no problem and I accept merch card for MUCH less and at current value of item.Note: I spend thousands in this store. It’s rare I’ll have no receipt but this was genuinely a gift for my kiddo that didn’t fit. I didn’t want to ask for receipt from gift giver.I was treated with disrespect and told no. Even tho their return policy is clearly listed online that I can return in store for a merch card. I showed her their own policy and she stated that “she makes her own rules” ??I will donate the cute outfit. Customer lost.

This place is amazing! Your child really looks transformed into a fairy tale. It's a magical experience. It must be a joy to work with the kids and see them smile. Some kids don't have the confidence they need. After seeing themselves as a fairy or mermaid or something there admire. They see themselves as beautiful and worth something. It's amazing to see the transformation in the children just by doing these photos!

I placed an order (order #J05035668) on 6/8/23 for my son's baptism on 6/25/23. I this a blazer, shirt, pants and socks. The shirt, pants, and socks were going to come in one package and the blazer was going to come in another package. All fours items were indicated as fulfilled and I was charged for all four items. The shirt, pants, and socks arrived but not the blazer, so I called the company on 6/17/23, that is when I was told they blazer was canceled. So an item was canceled, I was told it was fulfilled, charged, and never told that items was canceled. Nothing was resolved on 6/17/23. I called again on 6/19/23 and was given a refund for the blazer but now I am suck with the other parts of the suit and was told on this phone call I would get a return label sent to me. I never received that label. I called a third time on 6/20/23 and was told it will take several days to get the label because so many others customers are in this same situation. The two big issues for me are 1) now I have to spend more money getting another outfit rush shipped from another retailer and 2) the company policy is to NEVER let a customer talk to a supervisor EVER. I was told this on all three phone calls. If I did not follow up, I would never have known the item was cancelled. The fact the customer can never have access to a supervisor under any circumstance is a major issue. This is a company that will charge your credit card, put nothing in the mail, and then will deny you the opportunity to speak with anyone who can rectify the situation. Also, I am very concerned they will not accept my returns because removed all the tags and package because I was told the blazer was in the mail.

Unfortunately J and J dont honour their sales pricing. We tried to purchase a number of items that were on 'sale' only to be informed the pricing was incorrect and it was actually 2.5 times what was stated. After contacting support it was clear they were not going to do anything and as such they have lost our business going forward. Very Very average which is a shame

Went in to do a return and the old lady at the count was on her private phone. She was just giving me this look the whole time she was on her phone so I said I need to do a return and then she decided to get off her phone. Honestly it was one of the rudest customer service moves I've ever dealt with. So then she opens my bad and goes you need to take everyone out of the shopping packaging and said oh I didn't know, I was just told you bring it back with the package and she said "no, take it out of the packaging"... like this lady really wanted me yo take it out of the packages before she started my return so I just looked at her and said can I speak to a manager she said I am the manager. So then when she started my returns she said she wouldn't return the dresses because the little diaper lining wasn't connected... I asked her how are you suppose to try the dress on the child and she said "I don't know, that's not my issue it's our return policy". Long story short, I called customer service and they did the return no problem. The store just has a nasty manger (her name is Cheryl or Carol) and I will never shop and Janie and Jack again.

I wish I had read the reviews before buying clothes here. We bought a piece of clothes here that turned out to be too small for my baby after we tried a week later. They didn't allow me to return without the tag. How on earth do they think you can put the clothes on a raging infant with the tag. The return policy online was vague and misleading. Pretty much they don't allow returns unless you never even tried the clothes on the baby.

The staff here always try to deny return from customer. I returned my daughter's skirt because it's too big on her. The manager insisted saying it's washed and worn since the waist was bended. My daughter just tried it on several minutes, no wash and the skirt looks the same as it looked in the store when I bought it. I asked her that she could compare with other skirts in the store to see but she refused to do that and constantly said that I read the return policy. I bought many items here for my daughter, the store doesn't have fitting room to try on. And when you return, they will say the cloth looks like it's worn. How sly it is for this kind of customer service. I won't never return to this store.

Ignorant and even discriminated employee. My wife and I were shopping for our daughter and there was another white couple in the store. The old lady employee spent all the time speaking with the white couple and pretended not seeing us. She was playing with her iPad while we were waiting for check out. She even scanned the wrong price tag. No services at all and would not come back

I went shopping with my family and we found the perfect place to buy all those baby accessories. They have so many different brands, it's amazing! The quality of their products is great too-I loved how soft some outfits were on display because they felt like real clothes rather than just being synthetic materials like other stores make them out today which makes sense since you're buying from here as opposed tp be investing long term into one item set up shop early in your

Very disappointed. I ordered cloths for my son's holiday photos and paid for expidited shipping. The items did not come on time and customer service was very rude and hard to get a hold of.

Agree with all the reviews, rude employees, terrible customer service. I was given the clothes as a gift but they didn’t fit my infant and their return policy is awful. Usually higher priced stores have good return policies but between that and the experience I won’t be back.
