During our tour for our infant, we noticed there were two doors leading into the facility. One of them remains locked with a keypad (as it should) and the other—right next to it—was left wide open. When I asked why this other door was left open, they responded that parents forget to close it behind them when picking up their children. They said that they send “many emails to remind parents to close the door behind them” but that they forget. At this point, why don’t they install something on the door that automatically closes it after it’s opened? It seemed to me that they didn’t see this as a concern which was shocking. You’re paying close to $3400 a month and your child isn’t actually safe? The video camera access for parents at that point seems like a false sense of security. I hope they read this review and plan to address this problem for the safety of those children.

Kiddie Academy has played a wonderful role in my daughter’s growth and development. The entire team is genuinely caring and attentive, always making sure she feels safe, valued, and encouraged. I’ve noticed so many positive changes in her confidence, social skills, and curiosity since she started attending.
Their summer activities deserve special mention—they are exceptionally well-planned, creative, and engaging. Each day offers something new and exciting, which keeps the children interested and inspired to learn and explore. From hands-on projects to outdoor adventures, the variety of experiences has been fantastic.
Overall, Kiddie Academy provides a nurturing environment where children can thrive, and I truly appreciate the dedication they put into caring for and educating my child.

Kiddie Academy is an excellent place to provide a safe and engaging environment for kids up to pre-k. The classrooms are always tidy and clean, and filled with various artworks from the kids over time. More importantly, the smiling faces of everyone on the pictures are replicated on everyone's faces: teachers, staff, and of course the kids! Everyday when we walk in with our son we can feel the warmth greetings from the front desk staff, a hand-wave from the director in the office, a hug from the teachers to our son, and countless classmates running over excited to see their friend again. The school also does a great job in terms of providing ample outdoor time in one of their three outdoor playgrounds. What is really cool is the fact that these playgrounds are on the top floor, and covered! This makes it safe and dry for the younglings! The best part about Kiddie for us though, is how their teachers taught our son to grow emotionally, socially, and academically. They really care a lot about the kids and simply loves to be around them. The kids learn to deal with social activities, conflicts, and togetherness. It really is one big family, which I personally think is the most important aspect for kids this age. I highly recommend Kiddie Academy and really enjoyed witnessing our son's experience here.

Kiddie Academy is a great child care for children up to and including pre-k. Our son was enrolled in the preschool program for the past year and everything has been so wonderful. The staff is always so friendly and kind, and they love kids! You can tell because these toddlers love to be with them. Our teachers and assistants also love kids, and demonstrate great passion and strategy in helping making sure this is a great environment for everyone. Our son spent a great deal of time in Asia before coming to here, and we were worried the change in environment might scare him, but our teachers made him love going to school! Of course it took some time to adjust, but the process was very natural and everyone at the school truly prioritize the child's emotional and social growth above all else! The environment is also equipped with the right tools and toys to promote child learning and growth, and the place looks amazing whenever there is any type of holiday! I highly recommend Kiddie Academy for parents who want to provide a safe and amazing experience for their child everyday, while properly growing up and learning to social with others!

My daughter has been attending Kiddie Academy for about half a year so far and I am really impressed by what I have seen.
Prior to attending Kiddie Academy, my child went to couple home daycares as that was all that was available during COVID. The difference in level of care and education is quite remarkable.
Between receiving daily updates from Tadpoles, access to classroom cameras, freshly prepared food in their kitchen, regular student teacher conferences and special hosted events like their STEM event and Holi Event that recently passed; I do not feel separated from my child and feel very welcomed to the environment my child is exposed to.
Contrasted to the occasional text messages I would receive from the home daycare with a couple of pictures, Kiddie Academy continues to excel at communicating with us parents and feels very professional.
My daughter loves her two teachers and always shares stories of her day. The teachers have fostered a wonderful and positive classroom where friendships can really blossom. They truly are amazing superheroes and I am grateful that Kiddie Academy has put such a focus on hiring quality and kind teachers.
The facility itself is still quite new and feels very clean and professionally maintained. Between the computerized lock and check in system, the large number of cameras, and ease of keeping an eye on the academy as whole I do feel like my child is very safe, which is one of the biggest factors for my wife and I when choosing Kiddie Academy.
Basically safety and nutrition were the 2 biggest factors and many daycares to not seem to focus enough in these categories. Other comparably priced daycare academies we toured before Kiddie Academy did not offer food at all and required us to pack all of the food and water for the day, or did not offer security locked doors and just had a sign in sheet.
For the price we pay for our daughter to attend Kiddie Academy, my wife and I could not be happier with the level of service and care our child receives. Especially in comparison to other schools we toured and we are happy to pay a premium above what we paid at a basic home daycare.

Our son joined KA Bellevue mid November 2023 in the "Twos" classroom and just like any other kid, he cried a lot. Unfortunately both the teachers were busy attending other kids but the assistant director was there to console him all day.
On the second day, he continued to cry most of the day but there was no one to console him as both the teachers were busy (one teacher in the changing room and the other nothing). From the third day onwards I had to call the front desk at least two times because during nap time all he wanted was his pacifier but no one cared to give him and he would continue to cry and ask. So I had call every single day for 2 weeks and ask them to give his pacifier. Secondly because he wasn't getting any attention at all, he would go and play with water and wet his clothes. This was in November- December and very cold. Instead of changing wet clothes, the teacher was forcing him to sleep in his wet clothes. I had to call again and ask them to change his clothes. His water bottle would be on the floor and everyone including the teachers will be moving with the feet but not pick it. He would stay thirsty for hours.
How difficult is it to do your job for which you are being paid?
By end of second week we decided to talk to the Director Alyssa and after the meeting, she promised that he will be taken care of. From the third week onwards, it seemed fine and he was included during play time but the change of clothes remain the same. He would be on his wet clothes for hours until I called the front desk and asked them to change.
We realized he wasn't getting the type of care he should be getting and hence we decided to pull him out. We finally send them the withdrawal notice. Ofcourse we were asked why we decided to pull our son out when the teachers are being nice to him.
We never saw our son happy while drop offs and pick ups.
In terms of the curriculum, other than basic coloring there is no curriculum. Everyone is playing on their own.
My son was being pushed to the floor by two other kids from his class but the teachers didn't care to stop them. He would cry but the teachers didn't even bother.
On his last day (which was also his 2nd birthday) we decided to send him so that he can celebrate his birthday with other kids and also it was his last day. I was told that they celebrate his birthday after the nap hours. So I turned on the video to see what he was doing around 3:30pm and see most of the kids sitting and waiting for the cake. In the meantime, another kid sitting next to him bites my son 3 times and the teacher didn't pay much attention. After 2/3minutes, they realized it was swollen, they gave him ice cream pack and made him sit with it. This was his Birthday present from the school.
After which we immediately rushed to the center and the teachers didn't care to inform us. When asked what happened, one of the teacher casually said his friend accidentally bit him but they have applied ice it's fine. Then I asked about the incident report, she said she will send along with the daily report which I never received.
If I am not wrong, the incident report is presented to both the family for signature but in this case there was nothing.
There have been times when he tried to tell us about 'Time out' but didn't take it seriously but then one day he said because he plays with water, the teacher gave him time out in the dark. He kept saying "I am scared in dark" to us but we never thought this is what happened to him.
We are glad to have pulled him out of there.
.
Is KA reliable? The answer is NO.
Is it a good place for kids to learn anything? Of course NOT because there is no curriculum.
This entire 1.5months was horrible.

With so many of their employees leaving on their accord (since what choice do they have) and hearing as to why.. I wouldn't want to put my kid there. A revolving door isn't a good sign for a healthy management.

We love Kiddie Academy! Our 2.5 year old has been here for ~1 year and we just enrolled our infant into their care. All of the staff, including the teachers, front desk, and administration take an active interest in learning each kid and encouraging them each day, which makes a huge difference in their lives.
We also appreciate the proactive communication, school events both during school and on the weekends, and the high quality lessons KA staff bring. We're always amazed at the new skills our toddler acquires at school and the warmness of the staff makes us feel like part of a community. We couldn't be happier to bring our kids here, thanks Kiddie Academy Bellevue!

Our daughter has been attending the infant class for the past two months, and we couldn’t be happier with the care and attention she receives.
The teachers seem to genuinely love what they do. We appreciate how they always respect and accommodate our schedule. Every day they provide detailed reports and verbal feedback with valuable insights into our daughter’s activities and developmental milestones.
We like the thoughtfully designed curriculum, particularly the art classes. It’s heartwarming to see our daughter engaging in creative activities at such a young age. We also appreciate that teachers bring babies outdoors to expose them to nature whenever the weather permits.
A special shoutout to our class teacher, Ashleigh. We love all the handcrafts she made for the babies. She made the classroom so cute and loving!

Our toddler went there for approx. 1.5 years there. We had a great experience initially but we saw the quality of academy dropped significantly with time. It was primarily due to horrible teachers attrition we saw. Due to inconsistency of teachers, we decided to take out our kid from this place as he was not enjoying his time there. If you are looking for a place with camera then there are very few choices apart from Kiddie. Also, this academy is less focused on doing class activities with toddlers compared to other places we toured recently.
There are definitely better options available in Bellevue when it comes to child care at the same cost than kiddie Bellevue.

We are extremely satisfied with the hard work the teachers and all of the team at KA of Bellevue do to keep our kids safe! Our child has developed SO much over the year he has been in KA of Bellevue. He's not even two and knows how to count in English and Spanish, all of his ABCs, colors and shapes. Thanks to all the team at KA, you are great!

My son has been in kiddie of bellevue little more than two years. I truly trust teachers and supporting staffs. The new director Ms. Alyssa really cares about every kid. I personally asked so many questions as being a first time mom. She always welcomes and comforts me like Ms. Olive who was the previous director. Recently we have the event coordinator Ms. Jolyn. She provides so many parent involved events. Kids can have so many great memories with their friends as well as with parents. His previous teachers like Ms. Josephine and Ms. Kelsey are very caring and enthusiastic about what they are doing. My son learned from an alphabet song to the potty train from them. If you are parents, you know that really means something. I learned so much from them. Now he's in preschool. Ms. Ilyoun is putting her 200% on every kid with so many learning activities. I'm so lucky that my son goes to Kiddie Academy of Bellevue. I personally recommend so many friends to come.
