This gym tried every way they could think of to prevent me from canceling membership due to COVID. So detestable.

The 24 hour fitness in my area closed down so switched to LA fitness and I could not be more disappointed.-Froze my membership during covid. LA Fitness has unfrozen it twice and didn’t tell me. Found out from bank statements-Just called to cancel. Was told I have to come in person to cancel with an operations manager who is only in the office on weekdays from 8-5-the app and website are ridiculously outdated and not functionalIf there is a 24 Hour Fitness in your area, go there. The customer experience there is starkly different.

If you ever wonder whether a company like LA Fitness has earned the terrible reputation it has, simply ask to cancel your membership. You will be told its easy- you just have to find a specific manager, who is only in office a few days a week at specific times. If you can't drop everything during the work week, you can also create an account, submit several forms, mail them in, wait several weeks and BOOM! all done.If this sounds more complicated than just cancelling a membership online or over the phone, that's because it is. The process is designed to be difficult. All along the way you will interact with people trying to convince you not to cancel your membership. Absolute nightmare.

I'm sad they're closing down LA Fitness Downtown Bellevue. I have multi-club membership and this is my favorite gym. I'll have to consider more options because rather than expanding business, LA Fitness is shutting down clubs that will force members to crowd in fewer locations.

With all that is going on this business still feels it necessary to charge for services you are not receiving. This company thinks by offering extensions verses cancellations at no charge is really doing something!!! Why this company doesn't understand there are some people whose lives have been drastically changed and going to the gym is one of the changes as a result of this pandemic is beyond me. I hope that $35 am I think from me for 6 six months keeps Your company afloat. Also this company allows you to do any and every thing online except cancel your membership. I will never ever use or recommend this establishment to anyone. It is during times like this you really see the faces of people and the face of this organization is not looking good.

This club is the best LA Fitness! The front desk was very welcoming. Alex in Membership was patient, kind, and courteous in helping figure what was best for me and my gym experience!

I hate this gym. Sales are aggressive. The gym layout is awkward, with weights and running machines on different floors. The parking is horrible and during rush hour very hard to get out of. I've had parking validation not work several times which resulted in 30 minutes of nonsense to get out. Tried to cancel membership but can't do it online, need to go in during their 8-3, m-f covid hours, or mail in a form. Will go back to 24 fitness after the pandemic.

I tried to cancel back right when COVID started, yet they did not process my cancellation. I was just charged again in Aug 2020, yet were able to refund that month...however, did not refund the original cancellation date request. So leaving a 1 star review unless someone at LA Fitness corporate is willing to give me a refund for March 2020. They have not been easy to work with to get my membership canceled.

This gym is amazing. The staff is very friendly and super accommodating. All the equipment is top notch. Fun downtown location, tons of natural light in the gym. I travel around and get to a lot of Lifetime locations and this location is my favorite.

They don't enforce their own rules. Members can sit on the equipment as long as they want , between sets, without sharing. Trainers take over equipment without returning it.

The worst fitness center ever! Hard to cancel the membership, service is sub-par, a little mess and dirty in some corners.

This gym has a big problem! Someone keeps tearing down the shower curtains in the men's showers. I assume he is doing this to watch men showering? It's been going on a long time and nothing has been done about it. How about installing shower doors? In addition to this problem, the gym is in very sad shape. It needs a remodel and some upgraded equipment. Do not recommend!!!!
