3 stars because I wish they restock more often and add more things to the shop, to the fish part more specifically. Other petsmarts have so much stuff than this one :(
They usually try to help you out. It’s in general a friendly place. I have a betta fish so I only can talk about that part of the shop.

I recently took my dog to the Bellevue petsmart. A groomer named Cole clipped her and then wasn’t up front about it, and in fact tried to hide it. I also watched him raise his voice at other staff. He shouldn’t be around animals or in any kind of caretaking position. I won’t be going back to petsmart again

The employees there are always friendly and seeing the animals for adoption being taken care of is always nice.

I've used their grooming services a couple of times, and the experience has been fine. They get their job done, nothing exceptional. Other than Stella did such a great job washing my dog last time, but unfortunately, she no longer works there.
Yesterday, I brought my dog in for another wash, he's 14 and has trouble standing on the slippery floor due to weakened hips that comes with age. The staff told me they couldn't take him, which was understandable since it's their policy, so I was just going to take him somewhere else.
But I still I wanted to understand more about why Stella was able to do an excellent job given the same situation last time, and this is the customer service I received...
I said to a short-haired female staff who was assisting me at the time, "He (my dog) came here a couple months ago, and he was slipping on this floor, but Stella was still able to wash him."
The short hair female staff said, "It's actually 5 months ago, and things could've escalated."
I then asked her, "What did you mean by 'escalate'?" As I wasn't sure what exactly she meant.
She said, "Oh, I didn't mean that he'll get cancer and die, I just meant his situation could've gotten worse within 5 months."
My dog just had his annual exam last month, he's doing well for being 14 years old, other than having weakened hips, there are no other medical problems.

Manager was very helpful in selecting a grooming machine for our golden doddle. Very polite and informed me well. Now I need to practice my grooming skills as little more though ?

Very bad experience. We took our dog for grooming in the morning, and around noon we get a call saying he is not cooperating, he has behavioral issues. So we won’t be able to groom him much, just a bath and brush. Just for a bath and brush they took 5 hrs.
Now for the main part of the story. My pet vomitted a PIECE OF CLOTH last night. We don’t have that kind of cloth at home. We got him back at 4 in the evening. After which we didn’t take him anywhere other than a walk in the neighborhood.
He was in DISTRESS and they blamed him saying he has behavioral issues. He is a very sweet dog. It was so hard for us to believe he would behave that way.
DISAPPOINTED. Not going back.

I recently boarded my dog at the Petsmart Petshotel in Overlake, Bellevue, and I'm sad to say the experience was far from satisfactory. Firstly, the cost of the stay was much higher than what I was initially quoted, which came as an unpleasant surprise.Additionally, my specific requests were blatantly ignored. I had asked for an exit bath for my dog, which was completely disregarded. This oversight not only shows a lack of attention to customer requests but also a disregard for pet care standards.What compounded the issue was the attitude of the staff. Instead of being understanding or apologetic about their mistakes, they spoke in a condescending manner. This kind of customer service is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the establishment.Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the Petsmart Petshotel in Overlake. Their treatment of both pets and clients leaves much to be desired. To fellow pet owners looking for boarding options, I would advise looking elsewhere.

The staff are all really nice. However, the last time my dog was groomed here she came home with a cut on her neck and ringworm a few days later.
