I visited today to get help with a wire transfer for an affiliated credit union. Staff was kind and very helpful, even though I wasn't technically their customer. I will gladly do business with them again!

We have been with Salal for as long as they have been around dating back to when they were known as Grouo Health Cerdit Union. We love everything about the way they operate. Their savings and checking platform and their loan department shine. Small time business with big business sense.

You will be greeted with a friendly and confident voice, telling you that they offer anything you need, when this is far from reality. The communication was terrible, always needing to reach out for answers. After an unreasonable amount of back and forth due to faults of Salals, they then repeated all of the same questions again and explained that we could not move forward without answering them, again. Once this was finally straightened out, they said underwriting found a foreclosure on my credit report, but I have a good credit score with NO FORECLOSURE. I then had to do my own research and provide a letter from my previous mortgage company stating the obvious, that I didn't have a foreclosure on my record. I still gave them the benefit of doubt as I know regulations are tight, but then I was told the file is now getting submitted to underwriting, meaning I was lied to up until this point. Days later, Jenny got back to me stating that because of what the previous owners used the property for, they would not be able to move forward with the loan. All of this information was provided to Salal on day 1 and they told me that there would be no issues with my current situation. Complete waste of 30 plus days. Do not waste your time with this company, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

It'll be Ludacris to ever expect even a decent amount of customer support from this branch location. I attempted to drop off a check and was informed that I could only do it at their tukwila branch. As a small business owner, I was absolutely stunned. After watching mere moments before, watching another individual do the exact same transaction. I love the idea of credit unions, I'm a member of three of them. But these guys, I mean wow. Just absurd.

Wow. I will never get a loan or do any kind of business with Salal Credit Inion ever again. I inherited them when they bought Group Health - who was awesome. I paid off my car more than 4 years ago - was never sent my title/release of liability/payment in full letter or any other documentation that I now own the car outright, I didn’t realize this until I tried to sell my car and realized I don’t have the title. To my surprise the DMV still showed Salal as a lien holder, when I called Salal Credit Union, they passed me around several times, couldn’t find any answers or explanation as to why I’ve never been sent documentation naming me as the legal owner and said they would immediately put the docs in the mail (mind you NOTHING happens “immediately” at Salal, I had to call several times and follow up with them to even get this far), in typical Salal fashion, I am now going on three weeks - no title. I called and apparently my title was not sent out immediately, even after it being 4 YEARS LATE, it still wasn’t sent out. I’ve had to pull my ads to sell my car, pay car insurance and a parking space for an extra month because of Salal’s neglect and lack of professionalism. If I didn’t know any better, I would think this is some kind of scam, what if I died? Would Salal own my car? Ridiculous, this kind of neglect should be illegal.

I decided to move my mortgage to a local fin. institution and chose Salal because I have an account there and they've been fine; what a mistake! My loan was approved almost 4 months ago and has yet to be processed/funded. I was patient because COVID, etc, but this is ridiculous. I'm looking at other options and wish I'd done sooner.

Very misleading information about a promotion when I was signing up. Had to talk to a few people to clear up what's actually going on. Not satisfied at all
