SGA brought us our best friend! We adopted our puppy through them and had a smooth and very positive experience. Folks clearly prioritize the animal’s well being but also supportive of their potential fosters and adoptees. Great communication throughout the process and we couldn’t be more grateful! Such a thoughtful dog rescue. This is a foster-based rescue (no brick and mortar shelter) that really focuses on matching dogs with people. They are the best to foster for too!! I highly recommend fostering.

Wonderful organization doing amazing things. Clearly every single person who works for or volunteers for this organization is dedicated to ensuring they are matching the right dog to the right home. The adoption process is detailed, which can feel frustrating, but it goes smoothly and is very transparent. Can’t say enough good things about SGA.

Good service. I just wish Kaiser Permanente could get our dual coverage corrected. This has been an issue since the beginning of our dual coverage in October 2022.
Previous dual Kaiser Permanente coverage, we've not had any issues in WA and in S.California.
Otherwise, the staff has provided good service.

This rescue group has a heart of gold. They really try to save as many dogs as possible and give them the best opportunity to go to a forever home. They also do an excellent job matching the dogs with the right home.

Adopted a puppy and had a great experience. This was our first dog and they made the process easy to navigate, and made you feel like they genuinely care about the welfare of your dog, and that it’s a good fit for you and your household. I would absolutely use them again and always recommend them to friends!

Such a wonderful, caring group of volunteers. Given every dog is fostered and medically checked before being put up for adoption, you know they are coming into their new situation as best as they can. Incredible organization! I loved that because they foster dogs versus a traditional shelter I was able to ask in depth questions about my dog when adopting him. Amo is the best dog I ever had and we’ll have been together 10 years this April (2023). If you’re looking for a dog I can’t recommend Saving Great Animals enough!
