Many services all in one building(all animal related) as far as I could tell w/o going inside.. There’s signs that have #’s of various services . 1day later they called back and left message to call. I did and been few days now, no reply. They said they could help get rabies shot but not clear what hoops to jump in order to execute action. ? PLEASE ADOPT the many dog, cats etc there that need homes and some love and reassurance that humans are still good. A pet will bring out the good and caring in anyone! They’re amazing companions. My dog changed my life filled it with laughter and smiles daily!!!

I adopted my cat 10 months ago. Their process is pretty standard and the cat I adopted is very healthy and cute. The day I adopted her, they gave me some dry food, a can of wet food and a little blanket. The overall experience is very good but please remember to bring a carrier (buy one first) before getting a cat. They don't provide that and it's hard to put a cat in the box (they will try to escape)

We had a great experience with Seattle Humane! The process was thorough but understandable, the staff was really kind, and we are so excited to have a new family member!

I know a couple of people of color that applied to work here that were qualified and overlooked. The Establishment is great, however I don't think they value diversity and inclusion. No person of color is even employed there. To me that is an indication who they are most comfortable working with.

Seattle Humane was everything I wanted and more. They saved my baby at less than a third of what I was quoted elsewhere and they understood how emergent her case was. They scheduled us the very next morning (we made contact the night before!)
They were so kind and super understanding and even cried with me.
They saved my little love & they treated her so well.
❤️❤️❤️

We stopped by on a Saturday with no real planning, and were surprised at how very busy they were. With a facility full of animals rescued from a hoarding situation, the staff did an absolutely incredible job of moving through the list of potential adopters. Our hearts melted at our first glimpse of the sweet kitten Thackery Binx, and luck was on our side as we left with him just a little while later. I cannot give enuf props to the staff that day, it was absolutely heartwarming to watch folks leave with their new family members and the staff quickly moving on to make the next match.

We adopted Levi (formerly known as Gaston) about 3 weeks ago from Seattle Humane and I can’t imagine my life without this little bean! My partner and initially came in with the intent to visit two dogs in particular but after chatting with the wonderful staff, telling them more about lifestyle, how we have cats, where we live, etc. They suggested we meet with this lil guy and we absolutely fell in love. I am truly thankful for the staff who took the time to really talk to us, as well as let us reminisce about our pup who had passed this last year. They lead with kindness in all our interactions and I hope they know how happy we are with Levi in our life! He’s a puppy but he’s been thriving, learning to be a city dog, and a getting to know his feline siblings! Thank you Seattle Humane for helping us add this wonderful addition to our family! ❤️

Great place! The facilities are clean and I love how the dogs and cats/exotics are separated by floor so no one gets stressed out. Everyone was helpful, nice and the process was a breeze. They have a great insta account if you want to take a look before you go in. Thank you for everything!

Best shelter I’ve ever been to. The animals all seemed happy and well cared for with clean comfortable enclosures. The staff were amazing. The volunteers made it a really pleasant experience. It was clear how much everyone cared for both the animals and the humans who were looking for new companions. The adoption process was easy and straightforward though I do recommend visiting their website before you go so you understand how it works. I was shown to the cat room and instructed to choose my top three favorites. I got to meet/handle my top three picks. Then I was given background info on my selections so I knew what they’d experienced before coming to Seattle humane. Then I filled out some paperwork and chatted with some folks while they ‘boxed up’ my to go order. ?they even gave me instructions on how to introduce my new kitty to the kitty I had at home. They sent us home with a blanket, a toy and a bag of food so my new buddy was right at home as soon as we got back to my house. (He’s doing great now!)It was a wonderful experience start to finish and I hope that someday I’ll be able to volunteer at Seattle Humane myself.

A place to welcome and adopt animals! A clean and very pleasant space, the animals are very well looked after and are kept in individual stalls with bed, toys, water and food; In addition, there is full assistance from employees and volunteers!

The place itself is great, they treat their animals very well and you can tell they are all loved. The reason I will probably never go back is because the staff treated me in a very dismissive manner because I'm younger and live in an apartment.
Me and my girlfriend went there to see if any of the dogs clicked with us and we wanted to meet one of them and the first question the worker was how old we were and then what we wanted in a dog, this person was dismissive of our wants and said that because we have a cat we should not even be looking at any of the dogs because they are apparently dangerous enough to hurt my cat if left alone together. They instead suggested to us that we should really look at the cats because that would be better for us, even after I said the reason I wanted a dog was because my cat only gets along with dogs.
We left after that because clearly they did not want us there and I don't want to go back especially when it takes me two hours to get here
